I hate the bilge dice avatars and the dice-a-roo avatar. I always lose patience and end up giving up :(

My pet peeve is resellers offering on your trades all the time (usually the offers are less than half of what the items are worth) and pestering you with numerous neomails.

I was lucky enough to bob for an imposter apple WITHOUT one already in my inventory! :D

Lately all the neopian shops have been stocking much slower than they used to (probably due to fewer users restocking in shops overall), so I agree with the above advice to try on half price day.

 

Restocking is the main thing I do on neopets so this was one of the first avatars I got. Patience is key and getting it is easier than it appears to be.

I knew the ratios changed, but I just assumed TNT did this periodically to make the ratio better for games where the neopoint ratio was too low and the ratio worse for games that seemed to be giving out too much NP. I had no idea it happened regularly like this.

 

I got this avatar today.

 

 

And I got this one yesterday. I'm happy I'm getting the random avatars :P

The steps were not working for me earlier either. It seems to be fixed now though. :)

I would try not clicking too fast. Usually once I get a good result after clicking I wait a full second then click again. Usually it works well. It might just be completely random though.

I have seen only a couple users that this happened to when they posted. For the one user, even on different boards the same user has this same thing going on. It obviously is not just an isolated coincidence on a certain page.

I'm glad to see that my method worked for two people already!! :P tyrannian dung cheese ftw :)

I have noticed that there are horizontal "[" symbols in succession above and below neoboard posts of only certain users. It is very weird because these symbols appear to show up in front of everything else on the page (they overlap the posts above and below the user's post). It makes me very suspicious of the users it happens to. Perhaps they are illegitimate users or something. I just thought I'd bring it to everyone's attention in case someone has seen this before.

Just be sure to have the add-on no script and keep it updated. Also do not click on cheap codestones or map pieces in user shops without checking the link first to make sure it is a neopets link. If you do these two things, you should be safe.
