  1. Not necessarily. In previous plots TNT has capped the maximum wins that count towards your plot score...which makes battlers like me really really ticked off. <_<

If you're really desperate to beat that last one just once, I'd suggest you look into some 1-use freezers and healers or full blockers.

  2. One of the cutest and sweetest I've heard:

"Whenever you get lonely, just look at the spaces between your fingers and remember... That's where mine fit perfectly."

My friend showed me it so I don't know where he got it from. :P

  3. I hear ya Trisha, although I won't say it's not hypocritical of me to criticize when I'm probably also guilty of "living online". However, I also think that kids would enjoy a much better and fuller childhood playing with peers IN REAL LIFE, and running about outdoors. I'm not really that old at all and I didn't have such easy access to a computer and internet connection when I was around 14. Granted, my parents also discouraged being on the computer lots (which I respect them for now!). I guess with the advent of such a technological age, it's hard to get away, and it's so so easy to be sucked in.

It's tons easier to chat on messenger, but it's really NOT the same at all. The real person-to-person interactions just don't happen over msn. All you see is text. Sure, I have plenty of "online friends" I'd call close, but you always have to be careful in how close you want to consider someone you've never met in person.

Yes I am guilty of spending too much time online, and yes I'll try and get out more...if school would let me. :P

  4. Nannerz - awww, im gonna send some luck ur way, so remember to catch it ;) . I hope u'll get a FFQ soon.

Aww thanks! I only want it so I can get a pea chia. The lab isn't cooperating (been through what 10 colours already and had to morph it back to chia twice), and I don't want to pay around 9 million for the chia pop. :K However, the general trend is that FFQ's seem to favour younger accounts over older...but I'll keep hoping x)

  5. Whoops...my bad, answered the question wrong (I thought at first when you asked if it would continue, you meant if it would continue to remain open).

No, I don't believe there will be a continuation on the Altador plot. I would love to see a continuation (not only because I own the leading Altador-themed gallery in Neopia :P), but I doubt there will be a next step. The plot around the constellations was pretty conclusive, and I'd think that a further plot would have to put the current one on hold? Closing this one after so long might leave newer players complaining (and we all know those are the players TNT caters to these days).

  6. Some nice basic info you have there :) I've been playing around with the game myself and my strategy is completely different from yours heh. At the moment I've only been able to score just over 6k points, but I'm hoping I'll improve it enough to get the trophy eventually :P

  7. Don't get condescending with me.

And while TDN may have put a lot of effort in, some IDB members have certainly put in more. And all the 6 people really had to was copy the information, and input it into a database. o.o'

And yes, Ian has acted in a completely respectable manner. I was replying here specifically to your own posts, Samuel.

  8. Maybe you should do some comparisons yourself Sam, and you'll see how many are copied straight off word for word.

For your example, yes companies hire other companies to do jobs for them, but first, they always credit their source. Second, they don't republish the same thing under a different name wrapped up in a different package.

The sheer volume of information "borrowed" at least warrants an acknowledgment that you took your information straight off of their site. That common courtesy isn't attempted anywhere.

And at this point, I find it really disappointing that you guys act as if you have done nothing wrong.

  9. Trust me, I have looked up several weapons descriptions on this battlepedia that are uncannily similar to what IDB presents. Where are your credits for who performed the weapons tests? You HAVE to do tests not only to come up with the icons, but also the cases of icon averages on variable weapons, partial icons, and weapons that have a variety of different effects.

Even working since October, I doubt that's enough time to go through and test EACH of the claimed 2500 weapons one-by-one. First off, some of those are near impossible to get your hands on, much less have tests run on them.

If you want to honestly complete as another resource, please start from scratch and do your own research has IDB has put YEARS into doing (not months, YEARS).

And I'm pretty sure that when you copy and paste some of the text word for word, it constitutes at least plagiarism and therefore stealing.

  10. There are so many items out there, you'd have to make a database (constantly updated for price changes) of restock-worthy items. While it would be nice, I don't think I'll ever make one for my guide.

However, what you can do (and this is what many seasoned restockers, including myself does) when learning a new shop is to use an items database (such as NeoItems.net or JellyNeo's items database). Depending on the shop, you make want to search for items with a rarity from around 95 and up (perhaps a bit lower minimum for clothing). If you want to really limit it to awesome items, it might be better to search for only r98 or r99 and up. With this list of items you find, chances are most of them are good. If you want to be sure, it doesn't take that long to check them up on the shop wizard/trading post first.

  11. Sorry to burst your bubble but In-Depth Battlepedia has been around for YEARS and is considered THE resource for all things battledome. I can't help but notice you guys are basically taking what amounts to countless hours of testing IDB members have done to find weapons stats and simply copied into your database. Sure you're presenting it in a slightly different format, but it doesn't change the fact that you have not done those tests on 2500 items as THEY have done. I have been a fan of the IDB for years, and to be perfectly honest, am infuriated anyone would dare to present their own "battlepedia" without having invested the same amount of work.

  12. Heh I've heard lots of people complain about the none-so-modest faeries before, and I guess it's a reflection of the kind of world we live in today. Think about barbie dolls for example, and the young age at which young kids play with them. Yuck.
