  1. I admit to not having read all the posts but I am heavily tattooed.  I have had lots comment on them from a 7yr old boy (on seeing my Darth Vader tattoo) to an elderly gentleman. I've had a few say that I've changed their view of tattooed people and heavily tattooed. I have had the question, "What will they look like when you're 60?" to which I reply "f'in awesome!" and grin. To me, it is the most stupid question to ask anyone who is tattooed.

  2. I've met a few of the cast of Red Drawf, Chris Barrie (Rimmer), Robert Llewellyn (Kryten) and Hattie Hayridge (who played female Hollie). Chris Barrie is a bit offish, doesn't really like to chat much but Hattie was lovely as was Robert.

Also have met Ian McNeice (played Winston Churchill in Dr Who), James Cosmo (Jeor Mormont in Game of Thrones).  These two when met them treated everyone like an old friend, James Cosmo even shook my hand! I had one of my build a bears with me and got a photo with Ian McNeice taking a smoke from cigar, he placed fake cigar next to my build a bear as if he as smoking and got me to take a pic of them both on his phone!

I've also met the late Eddie Bunker (who played Mr Blue in Reservoir Dogs), he was a lovely man and, felt honoured to have met him and talked with him. I also have met David Prowse (Darth Vader) as a big Star Wars fan this was big for me! A lovely man. Also have met the late Michael Sheard (Admiral Ozzel in Star Wars).

Met Dogs of War (Canidian Pink Floyd tribute band), they were all lovely. Met the late Jimmy Ellis, which kinda threw me, because was with my mum and, he stopped us and gave her a hug. Didn't know that she knew him! He was a lovely man and, talked away to me as well.

Ones I've seen have been Gillian Anderson, Kylie,  Jamie Dornan, Liam Neeson, Colin Morgan, Jimmy Nesbitt.  Actually seen Colin Morgan and Jimmy Nesbitt quite a bit. Probably quite a few more but can't remember right now.

  3. I'm in Northern Ireland (part of UK) and, depends where you are in this small area to be honest. Though generally speaking, we like eye contact and hug people we know well, the longer the length of hug, longer you know the person. Or if you are thanking them, it tends to mean a big thank you. Also some people tend to touch when talking, lightly on the arm or on the back, around the shoulder area.  The hugging is done by both men and women, also I sometimes would playfully punch my male friends on the arm.  Handshakes are done on introduction but, I think this is done anywhere in the world.

Also I noticed that the rest of the UK, (England, Scotland and Wales) are a lot more reserved than here.  Also some areas down south (of Irleand) are reserved also.  I spent some time in Canada some years ago and, noticed that there are differences to here.  The people I came into contact with didn't seem to like eye contact (though same could be said for rest of UK).

    Just my observations.
