Here's a question for all you veteran restockers from a newbie.

 

So I've been staking out the Plushie Palace since it restocks super fast, and I've seen loads of plushies come and go. I was lucky a while back and caught a plushie that was selling for a sort of high price (about 5k) and it was worth about 14k. So I'm just like, sweet, and I put it in my shop. Then a little later, I find another plushie selling for about the same price, and it's worth only about 1k. What gives?

 

I've read loads of restocking guides and I haven't seen this addressed. How exactly are you supposed to know what's good and what's bad? I mean, those plushies were basically the same price and they sold in user shops for a completely different amount. It's really confusing, and I don't know if I'll have the patience to sit there and memorize the value of everything that pops up unless that's the trick and I absolutely have to. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated since this has been getting on my nerves and inhibiting my restocking ability greatly. :/

Yeah, I just noticed this. I play Crisis Courier and Kass Basher daily for 1000 NPs each play. Now I'm getting very few... My god.

 

I can understand why TNT does this, it's just annoying. Very annoying. Anyone got any good game suggestions?

How about my pet invent0r? He's a coconut JubJub with a moltara JubJub Inventor outfit.

But that's not a hysterical/horrible pet name at all! It's quite creative and suits the pet very well; the zero used as an o doesn't even bother me as much as it should. And your pet's not bad looking either, for a JubJub. :)

 

Also, just found a Xweetok in the pound named IAmJacksColdSweat. Um.

Today, someone donated like ten or so red morphing potions for various pet species. I missed them all because I suck at life.

 

Oh, and someone also donated a Moquot. Which I also missed. It's worth 300k. :(

 

I also happened to miss a Zei Codestone, which isn't nearly as good as the above two, but guess what? I missed that one as well.

 

At least I got some crap to dump in my SDB and two omelettes to give to my side accounts so my pets don't starve to death. Right?

EDIT: Adopted PrepareTheMasses on my side account. Just too awesome to pass up. He's old by the way, like over 1,000 days. Kinda surprising that someone would just throw such a cool pet away like that.

Haven't gotten anything so far, but I've seen some stuff get donated. Like the cute Skull Bow. Want.

So, I was Googling funny pet names and I stumbled upon a very old thread from this very forum regarding horrible names people have given to their Neopets. I went through the whole thread, and suffice it to say, I was in tears. Just, some of the funniest things you can read.

 

Since I am unsure if you can bump threads, I decided to revive it because this is most definitely a topic worth exploring. Just for laughs.

 

Like, for instance, there is:

 

A green Flotsam named frankie0feet in the pound right now.

 

A red Peophin named PrepareTheMasses also in the pound right now.

 

A green Uni named Booberella_6_6_6 belonging to an owner right now. An owner who seemed to be quite devoted as she has a Faerie Alabriss and is level 17. The name "Booberella" may or may not be a Simpsons reference, but where does the "_6_6_6" come into play?

 

A red Buzz named RealmusicisNOThiphop also belonging to an owner right now. Why someone would chose to express their musical tastes based on a Neopet I have no idea.

Hey all, there's something that's driving me a bit nutty. I started making up a story on the Neopian Adventure Generator thingie, and I gotta say I was really happy about the way it was turning out. I went to submit the first page, and to my surprise, it told me that there was inappropriate language contained within it. I was somewhat annoyed, so I went back and edited my story taking out some of the more questionable content (by Neopets standards.) Went to submit again, and lo and behold, it was rejected again. So, I need y'all's help.

Here's the first page:

"Your vision is a bit blurred, but when it finally comes in to focus, you start to stare at the tiled ceiling above you. You stretch in your bed, which is comfy, if a bit plain. The sheets are pure white, as is the comforter, and the pillowcases as well. Come to think of it, so are your bedroom walls. And the floor. Hospital white. The kind of neutral colour that brings to mind boredom and conformity. You reach out to the side of you, and grasp your pair of sunglasses. The fluorescent lights in your room are almost blinding, but outside, they're even worse.

You rise up, and stretch once more. What a night.

You stride over to your mirror, and your tired countenance stares back at you. You get dressed, in a plain white work shirt and black pants, comb your short fur neatly, and file down your tiny black horns. Yes, that's your reflection alright. Just an extremely ordinary blue Ixi. You nod once, then step towards your door."

Please help me. I have such a clear idea of how the story will further progress past this point, but I can't progress until I figure out what's causing the censors to act up.

Is it the big words? Or am I missing a hidden naughty phrase in there? I'm so confused.

EDIT: Okay, nevermind, I've figured it out. It wasn't any words or anything offensive, it was the apostrophes. They're blocked for some stupid reason. This thread can be locked.

Yep, I'm new here. I rejoined Neo on the 16th of November, and I got reaaalllyy into it over the Christmas Break, as I tend to do during long periods of time with no school. Gives me something to do, and frankly, it's really quite fun and addicting.

 

Anyway, my real name's Sarah, but most of the time I ask people online to call me Atomic or something. Since it's the first part of my username, most people call me that regardless. I really enjoy writing and learning about things, aside from Neopets, my interests are kind of strange. I'd say the most relateable of them would be my interests in animation and biology.
