  1. It could be as simple as cleaning the disk reader, as Duma said. The sound may actually just be a cord acting up. For me, when I play games on my ps3, there's this weird glitchy thing the light / colour does, and fixing that is just adjusting the cord plugged in to the back of the ps3.. Maybe it's something like that with the sound? It may still do good to get your ps3 checked on, though.

  2. Okay, here's the thing. I work in a hair salon, so I mean.. I feel I could kind of help more when it comes to the hair? xD Yes, kids, especially young ones get it. Yes, adults can get it too. Lice isn't as scary as everyone makes it up to be, it's just irritating. Lice like clean hair. I'm not saying to keep your hair a filthy mess because you could still get it, but I'm just saying scrubbing the heck out of it every shower won't prevent it. The hair products you're using can help, but only to a small degree. A good way to avoid it, especially if you know kids you're working with have lice, is to use something containing tea tree oil like a shampoo and conditioner combination, or even put a bit of actual tea tree oil in your hair every so often. They absolutely hate it. As the others said, avoid sharing anything that makes any sort of contact with your head. The concerns about the clothes, do as Rebecca said. If you do happen to get it, you're going to want to get rid of the lice first, don't use your bed for a day or two, then wash all the bedding. If you get it and don't really know how to get rid of it, just get a lice killing shampoo, follow the instructions. People get mad and say it didn't work because they didn't follow the bloody instructions. Once you've used that, get a specialized comb to get out any nits that are still stuck in your hair. You'll want to make sure you get rid of all of those, so if you feel you'd need help doing that, just ask someone.

  3. Actually, my Dad has that exact same thing. When he's reading, it floats right in to his vision. He talked to his doctor about it, and it's a tiny floater.

Chances are, it's only a little floater. All a floater is is one or more dead cells that somehow ended up in the fluid that coats your eye, and sometimes they go away, other times your optometrist can get it out. Either way, it's nothing to be really worried about if that's the case. Yeah, they can be annoying, especially when they float past when you're trying to study something through a microscope ( ugh xD ), but, they're normal. If you're really worried about it, for sure, see your optometrist.

  4. I had this soup stuff from a sushi place today.. They said it would be salty. but it wasn't very salty. And there was tofu in it! I never tried tofu before today. It was... Weird. I don't know how I feel about tofu. I mean, it takes on the taste of whatever it's in so it's not that that bugged me, but the texture / consistency. o.o

  5. I agree with Rebecca. The thing is, you have all the control, right? It's not technically against the rules, but you could easily scam every single person who trades you a pet. Even if you're the most trustworthy person on the planet, I'm sure many would think that way and not do it, so it wouldn't be very successful anyway :(

  6. Considering there was a problem with getting prizes to actual winners, I feel they should do something to keep the winners from the puzzle before the new one. It would at least give people a chance to realize "Hey! I had this right and I can prove it!" It would be better than it was, at least. It would only require a bit of organization. But, I'm sure there are better ideas they may have :P

  7. Let's be honest here.

2.png is no substitute for 2.png

Now, mutants and maraquan are special among converted pets because their poses are not restricted to be able to wear clothes. Honestly, I think Faerie, Wraith, and Darigan should also not be restricted to the poses that were drawn for standard red/blue pets. (Heaven knows, my wraith krawk already does not fit clothes without poking through in places. They may as well have given him a whole fresh pose and be done with it.)

Because really, it's the restriction that makes the art dull. For special colours, it would be great if the poses could take a sideline.

THANK YOU. You know how long I've thought that for? The EXACT same thing? It's good to know someone else thinks the same. I absolutely loved the UC faeries, especially the pteri. Conversion ruined some of the darigans, And the wraiths, I don't personally have one, but I could see how the poking would be a problem. I agree with you about all that, 100% xD

  8. I think it has a lot to do with which artists were designing the colour/species combo too. There's no way the same person could have designed both the Faerie Lenny and Faerie Flotsam, with the former I bet being favoured by the majority of people. However, if the same artists had also drawn the Faerie Flotsam, it probably would have had a lot more colour/personality to it. Some people are just more creative than others.

You know, that does make a lot of sense. I mean, I thought maybe it could have been a group of artists figuring all this stuff out, but if each neopet was designed by an individual artist, that would explain a lot about the differences they all have. Even different colours of the same species. xD

  9. You know, I kind of have to agree with you. They're basic colours with a pair of wings put on xD You could go to the shop wizard and get a pair of animated wings for much less than the price of a faerie paint brush :P I find some colours weird too. Like..:

http://pets.neopets.com/cp/jnmgqlm9/1/4.png I don't know why, I just found the stripes kind of weird I guess o.o

http://pets.neopets.com/cp/jvd3qtsq/1/4.png All the other darigans look diabolical. This one looks like it's drunk. :(

http://pets.neopets.com/cp/7rvt9qdg/1/4.png The wings. It's definitely the dang wings. A lot of the fire pets are really "plain-jane" too though. I mean, look at some, and then the fire gnorbu. THAT'S a fire neopet xD The ways they have.. For instance, chias, cybunnies, or shoyrus, it's just.. Meh. :P

To be honest, I think converting messed up the look of a lot of the neopets and their colours, so that could be the sole cause of why people dislike / find the looks of certain pets and colours awkward or weird.

  10. I can't stop watching this, its just soo funny :P

LOL! That's fantastic. What was that other one I saw... Epic Pie Time? I think that was it. It got a couple of chuckles out of me but I think this beats it xD

  11.

You... had... FIVE wisdom teeth?! OH-EM-GEE, I didn't even know that was possible! And here I am complaining about my four teeth! xD

There are actually the rare times when people have even more than five. Two wisdom teeth may be in each of the four places. The guy I had showed me xrays of these situations. They're smaller than regular wisdom teeth, but yeah, it's possible :P

  12. You are correct, this guy is a psycho. If he's going to act like that, he shouldn't even be working around children. I don't think this should wait until he maybe quits before Christmas. That's a few months away. Within that few months, if he isn't supervising the kids, something really serious can happen because they'll be so accustomed to the fact that he doesn't give a hoot, you know? And not just that, but the verbal attacks or passive aggressive comments on a wall could become more than that. I think someone of higher authority should say something sooner than later, but that's just my opinion.
