Ok, Mystery Island might be a great place to be, but let's face it, it's not exactly high ranked right now.
Instead, you may want to join Tyrannia!
We are, much like MI, a small team, but we're a very hard-working and dedicated group(the biggest reason for our success last year), and we're very relaxed (we'll let you play any game you want, whenever you want to and as much as you want). We're also very tight-knit: everybody on TY is friends, we never fight *cough*unlike TM*cough* and we all know our names, which isn't likely to happen on bigger teams. Also, despite being a very small team, we have a second board (DACTYL) which is dedicated to YYB only, and scores are mostly posted as they are made rather than by hoards (for us ACers that prefer talking to their friends as they play rather than doing it alone :) ).
Annnnnnnddddd, saving the best for last,
VP was sixth the year before winning, and we were sixth this year :P

If any teams join they would have to come in pairs, maybe Neopia Central and Lutari Island.

I like Kreludor's and Lost Desert's most, although ours look cool too.
What roster changes do you think will happen?

Power rankings:
1.Kreludor: SOTAC is overrated, and I'm saying these guys aren't leaving the top tier until they win. However, I wouldn't bet on them winning, having usually performed worse in the finals than the DRR(These are power rankings, not predictions)
2.Meridell: They barely missed the 1st tier last year, and seemed solid year-round. I like this team, and 5th is a nice position for a standings jump.
3.Tyrannia: Virtupets came out of 6th too, and we had an awesome run at the beginnining. You tell me if I'm being biased.
4.Maraqua: Solid team, solid game, but the two defeats in the finals last year are going to hold them back a bit, so I don't see them advancing much this year.
5.Krawk Island: Performance last year is going to bring back the freeloaders they lost last year, which is going to pull them down, but I still think they can secure the 2nd tier victory.
6.Terror Mountain: I think they can improve a bit from last year, nothing too extreme, but enough to put themselves in a "jumping position" like 6th or 5th.
7.Darigan Citadel: I expect more of the same from DC: playing very well but getting upset a lot, only playing their best for the more important games, then losing morale and thus positions when they ultimately miss the 1st tier.
8.Lost Desert: I think the Mummies will bounce back as the freeloaders start to leave. Because of this effect, I believe they will be much better towards the end of the cup.
9.Roo Island: Pretty much the same RI as last year. They have to get better at sidegames if they want to rise.
10.Shenkuu: Can't really say why (sorry Jolly Squirrel :laughingsmiley: ) but I think they should improve a little this year.
11.Haunted Woods: This is one of the two teams that I say falls because others rise. I just don't see anything improving in HW, although expect them to pull a couple of big upsets.
12.Virtupets: I'm guessing a smaller team should get hit harder by the Winner's Curse, but I'm still putting them 12th because they are a dedicated, close team that isn't likely to lose many players.
13.Mystery Island: I don't know what to say. Sorry, MI, but I don't think this is your year.
14.Brightvale: This is the other team that goes down because the others improve. I like Brightvale, but I think they won't get any better.
15.Kiko Lake: For me, of the 4 bottom teams, this is the one that has shown the most consistency, dedication and overall talent.
16.Altador: They've shown focus in winning so many SS games, and they were able to trade SS for YYB to hand Moltara the wooden spoon.
17.Moltara: They should slowly get better. Slllllloooooooowwwwwwlllllllyyyyyyyy.
18.Faerieland: Sorry Faeries, you're not winning an AC until they make one only for kids under 8.
