I did Lost Desert for my first and second years, because my gelert was painted like that and it just seemed fitting (and was a team I liked). Did TM the time before this time because my friend was on it and I honestly didn't care about the altador cup that year. I've always wanted to join VP (it was the team that I felt like I fit in the best) but since I wanted to win so bad I could never join a team that did as bad as them. This year (my first year back to neopets/AC) I joined them because I decided that I don't care about winning as much as having fun... but I guess VP isn't an underdogger any more... so yeah. :P

Futuretxvirtupet: Admittedly, I mine more often then building. Mostly if I don't have a project to work on, I just resource mine forever and ever and ever.

 

Luciana: I have to run minecraft as small as I can get it (including the gui) and still have to take breaks because it gets my laptop so hot. (and it laggy lag. Also, the friends I play on the server with make things way cooler than me, so I enjoy just wandering around and exploring their creations (they do such complicated things) I haven't seen any of those videos, or heard of them! I'll probably get around to that, thanks for the info. o:

Nice! I honestly hated it for the longest time (my boyfriend played it and so did my other two housemates). I didn't understand it and thought it was stupid. Started playing about a month ago and... between it and yyb, it takes up all the time when I'm online.

I just finished my latest project, an underwater house (and linking all the caves from all my bases). I also built a sky house that you can jump off into a 4x4x3 square of water that leads to a cave (that leads to the underwater house and my main base).

 

Anyways, looking for some other players and I thought it would be neat to have a minecraft accomplishment discussion? :3

Wow! It goes to show you that you can't feel like you have a free day at any time. Because even teams that aren't doing so well, that you think you can beat easily -- they never stop. They don't take breaks. So if you do, BAM. It the case of VP, since we used to be a horrible team and now look at us. And now Moltara took the first step. ^_^

I know a bunch of people really love baby gelerts... but I thought boochi was the worst when he zapped mine a few months ago.

 

She was desert. Granted, I painted her desert before it was the price it is now. But it was still a large loss for me. Thankfully, biscuit and desert are very similar base colours (and I had the desert clothes). So it's not like I had to fork out a lot of neopoints. But it still made me sad. :(

I have a friend who plays subeta a lot more than neo; I tried it out awhile ago. Honestly, I like not having 20 pet slots, and that you can't just change your username and pet name on a whim.

 

And yes, the art is "better". It's great art, but it reminds me of a bunch of teenager art on deviantart or something. I just don't find it creative at all.

 

And, subeta has this thing where if you give real money to it, it pays off in the game. That to me is very unfair. People who are richer in real life are richer in subeta.

 

The navigation to me was very hard to get used to. I don't know if it's changed in the last few years, but that's how it was for me.

 

The only big qualm I have with the words you say is that, subeta is not safer than neopets at all. Because full CSS is used, it is EASY to hack and scam and put in malicious code. It's smaller, yes, so the likelyhood of someone being capable/wanting to do it is smaller, but it is also less secure. I know subeta has had many problems with this. (Didn't Keith have to change the url for a little bit because of breaches?). I don't hold it against subeta at all, as high security on websites is hard to do. But neo only allowing partial CSS is indeed for safety.

 

I'm glad you found a place that you feel like you fit in, and I hope you get some people who may be bored with neo something fun to do, but it's just not for me. Even though I have been known to get completely bored with neo, and was frozen myself about 5 years back. I think I'll keep coming back to neopets. I just feel more comfortable with the site and do actually enjoy the changes tnt and viacom and whoever have been doing (at least for the most part).

It's funny, the games that I think we're okay are the ones we lose. Like when we played against you guys and didn't know if we won, we did. But against Brightvale we lose. It's weird.

Same here, I almost joined Kreludor. It's interesting -- I hear that a lot. Our teams are super similar :P

 

 

But yeah, I wish I had the super motivation/dedication to get all star, but there's no way I would even if I wasn't sick. But I'm the same as you, when we are against a large team, I try to play as much as possible. ^_^

 

I just did 5 games of yyb, and I think I'm done for a bit *sigh*

I'm Rank 4 -- hoping to get Rank 5 today. I hadn't been playing as much as I would have liked... (I got sick for a long while) but I'm trying to make up for it. It's still the best I've done in an AC ever.

 

 

I too was banking on facing Kreludor in the finals. It's so fitting, both being space teams. Last game we played together, I know almost everyone was sitting on the edges of their seats, wanting to see how our match played out. (VP included, we weren't sure if we won or lost at all :P) I really think it's going to come down to us, I have a feeling.

 

Though you're right... where did KI come from? ! :P

I don't like having Weldar on our team. I mean, he fits pretty well being a mutant grundo but idk. All of my players have at least 200 goals (with Keetra having a lot more) except him, he doesn't even have 100 yet. I'd like to see Derlyn Fonnet, just because she's really neat (and purple to go with Sela!) but I know that won't happen.

 

I like the OP's idea of an alien aisha or 8 bit. And do kind of agree that a yellow, plain cybunny is out of place.

Nice! I didn't even consider using the map for a side... I might now. I bought it in hopes that it'll rise again some day and I'll make a nice profit. Or maybe I'll buy another one... 2 map sets for a price less than what 1 cost a few days ago. Sheeesh.

1. Virtupets -- I have always always wanted to join VP, but years ago I could not handle being on a losing team. This year, I decided to join them anyways (because I don't care about winning much anymore, was in it for the fun). And behold, we're doing great. Also red and silver = great colour scheme and their emblem makes graphics really easy. Their chat group makes me feel like I fit in (weird references and stuff that I actually get!)

 

2. Kreludor -- Space is cool. Also, they have one of the best colour schemes in the cup to me. Their emblem is really neat as well. And, they have pretty neat team members. :)

 

3. Lost Desert -- My main pet is painted LD, they were the first team I ever joined, I really like the feel they have. Their chat group is super friendly.

 

4. Terror Mountain -- Joined them once; I love snow. Taelia is awesome. Scratchcards! :P The captain is really neat.

18. Darigan -- they have a pretty unmoveable rep. And I don't even mean just their players (though it's mostly true for them). Darigan is supposed to be mean and evil. Not for me.

 

17. Roo Island -- Too colourful, too comical (never been a fan of comedies), not a fan of roos :(

 

16. Faerieland -- Too girly, too ... soft... (though the colour change helped this year)

 

15. Tyrannia -- They seem so large and bulky, and dislike their colour scheme. And the land is ... well caveman-like. :P
