I love both of the new colors! And I like how they kinda went back to making some of the colors look like real-life animals :D

Oh, and here is something I thought would be crazy amazing, but TNT would never do (this would be kinda annoying), what is camouflage was different for the various places your neopet lived? Wouldn't it be awesome that when you filled out that stupid little question Where does your Neopet like to live? it actually made a difference? Like if you put "forest" the base color for camoflage would be more green/brown while if you put "river" it would be blue? Oh my goodness it would be fantastic!

If you put clothing on an Invisible pet, do the clothes show up? Because that would be a potentially nifty keeping point.

No, invisible is one of the colors that isn't customizable, otherwise it would be kinda fun to have a random floating t-shirt. With the customization they do really need to go and re-draw the faeries. There are only a couple that are interesting like the xweetok, lenny and pteri. The other ones look like base colors with np-bought wings. And 3 cool looking pets just isn't worth 2 million neopoints when you can get a significantly better color and buy way better wings to get pretty much the same effect.

A couple of the Uni colors really bug me. Striped should have zebra pattern, and speckled could have been more like the horse in this pic, instead of green.

I also agree that the uni should have a zebra-esk pattern just like the spotted kougra actually looks like a cheetah, it would make it a lot more fun :)

I would probably run a virus scan...or maybe just go through your computer and kinda clean it up by deleting some programs that you don't use anymore.

So I was looking through the colors because I am thinking of painting my xweetok (currently snow), and I could not find a single color that I REALLY liked for the xweetok. Usually I find a couple colors that I really love, but the xweetok doesn't have any :( I mean, why can't the xweetoks have one of those awesome colors like the royal/maraquan shoyrus or the island/halloween hissi? So what colors for specific pets do you think are seriously lacking, especially the colors that are extra expensive? Personally, these are some of mine:

Halloween xweetok - I'm not really sure why I don't like it, I just think they could have done a much better job with this :/

Maraquan Mynci - ...they took off ears, made it pink and gave it a swishy tail? Really? Most of the maraquan pets are so cool and different but this one is just the same :(

Halloween Aisha - ...they made it red and gave it two tiny little horns...super creative.

I like the ghost one...or the blue! I think it is adorable! The starry one has a bit too many stars though... :P

The 100k is market value :P Haha, everything I have right now is under 18np per...I only have a couple right now and I am just building up my stuff right now, I plan to have around 2 million invested at some point, but with the 1000 shares per day thing it will probably take a while...

So I have around 500k invested into various stocks on neopets and I was wondering if they can actually "crash" and go bankrupt and you loose all of your neopoints? I am just wondering so I can figure out if it is "safe" or not to invest a pretty large amount into one stock or not...

It could be argued that the latest winner went with a minimalist style... As the architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe liked to say, "less is more".

 

The only critic I could have for it is that they didn't think of what would happen if they won the Userlookup Spotlight... now the background behind Games and Trophies is stretching and it's disrupting the line. But on her official lookup, she fixed the size of the trophies so it looks nice.

 

TNT likes to feature different style in their contest. They also try to pick people from different group of age.

I agree here, it is just kinda a minimalist stile and the pets are at the top which I think is really unique and different, it definitely doesn't appear very often. The Mapping on the pets it pretty decent and the drop down bars are also a good touch. It is a simplistic User Lookup but the design elements themselves are rather nice. All of the colors and overall image designs and patterns work well together and it is quite pretty. Is it the best User Lookup I have ever seen? No. But considering the fact TNT likes to pick things that are different, I think it is fine. :P

There was an 8.9 earthquake, and the earthquake caused the tsunami and also cause the roof on the nuclear power plant to collapse. As far as I know the nuclear power plant hasn't actually melted down yet, they are just afraid of it happening though. There was an explosion caused by hydrogen (not radioactive), but some radioactive material was release and right now there is an evacuation. And I have no idea what SARS is...I just googled it and I found it was Severe acute respiratory syndrome...I haven't really seen anything about that...where did you see that?

I figured that I should say hello and that I am new to the forums. I have been playing neopets on and off for a couple years, typically during the summers and towards the end of the school year. My life in the middle of the year is always insane! Anyways, I just that it would be good to say hi and introduce myself! ^_^

I don't know if there needs to be a CSS specific one, but really just a "coding" section would be really nice...especially since graphics and coding are two different things so it would be nice to separate them out...

It has been quite a while since I last coded on Neopets (or any site) and to be honest I don't remember any of it. So, I am looking for some good coding tutorials for neopets pages of all kinds, especially userlookups and petpages. If you know of a good tutorial I would really appreciate if you posted the link. :)

http://www.brushking.eu/ -Also has a lot of brushes and it has some awesome tutorials for Photoshop it you want to learn some cool tricks.

Personally, I use brusheezy.com for just about everything. They have some custom shapes but now a whole lot. If you want to look for more, I would just suggest looking it up on google, but then you have to worry about viruses and all of that good stuff. To get them into your program, download the shape file onto your computer and I suggest making a folder for shapes/brushes/textures. When you extract it to the desired folder, right click the file and copy it. Then, go to Computer>OS>Program Files>Adobe>Photoshop Elements>Presets>Custom Shapes. Paste the file into that folder. Note: the shapes won't show up if you have photoshop open, so close out of photoshop and re-open it and the shapes should be there.
