Firefly is this Joss Whedon show that only lasted for 12 episodes before Fox canceled it. It managed to draw in a huge fanbase, though, so much so that they made a movie afterwards to wrap up the story. It has Nathan Fillion in it, who's in Castle nowadays and is delightful always.
