did anyone else notice that once u reach level 50, nesters die really quick?

i decided to see how much NP i make and started to keep a close tab on what i get and what i spend. turns out i was wrong about habitarium: i usually make around 10,000 - 15,000 NP/ day; but then i spend them when i buy stocks. i usually make a few more NP doing the dailies and playing some games. so, by day's end, i have a little bit over 10,000 NP left that i deposit in the bank.

 

i decided to deposit everything in the bank, so that each day i start from zero. still, i'm a long way from those 5 million/ month that some people seem to make...

I just use Habi, KeyQuest, and Turdle racing.. with just those 3 I can make 5- 7 million in a month.

 

I should probably try Turdle Racing. I also sell prizes from KQ, but I keep the codestones and the neggs. I'm starting on a new strategy now, buying profitable neggs from the neggerie and selling them. Let's see if that brings in the much-touted fortune!

 

I'm surprised that you make 5-7 million in a month though just with these three... I can't leave Habitarium on all the time because it overheats my laptop, but I have over 20 nesters and I collect the eggs/ points at least 2 or 3 times per day. That comes to, say, 3,000 - 4,000 NP/ day. KQ brings in anything between 5,000 - 20,000 NP/ day, depending on whether you win gold or silver/ short or long game. Don't have a clue about Turdle racing...

 

But then if you restock, that's around 15,000 NP you spend per day. You can make a lot of money, true, but not necessarily on a daily basis.

And if you buy stocks, that's another 15,000 NP you spend per day. Again, you make a profit when the shares mature.

Thanks. I do the dailies, and as I said, Habitarium brings a handsome amount of NP daily. The stock market is, for me, the best. I restock from various shops, but I never get the really profitable items (I have been restocking at the Chocolate Factory for ages and I still wasn't able to get the avatar...). I usually get anything between 5,000 - 15,000 NP daily (without the stock market, as the shares don't mature every day), but still I wonder how some people are able to make millions... I mean, with 15,000 NP/ day you don't really get to be a millionaire any time soon...

I'm curious what people do to save up NP. I used to play a set of easy and quick games, but nowadays I gave up (no more free time on my hands!) and i only use the Habitarium and the Stock Market to save up. With the new avatars released today (the ones you get for buying the books at the Hidden Tower), I'm thinking I should somehow get the 10million for a book... Any suggestions?

yeah, i can only afford the 100K one as well :( i'll be saving up for the next 10 years to get the 10 million one... i think i'll just go for other avatars...

if any of you want a cybunny, i got one that i'm trying to get rid of. it would be really great if i could trade it for a jetsam (at least temporarily, i want the avatar), but i'm willing to just give it away for free.

yeah, now that i think about it, i keep at least one petpet from any species i come across. except i never came across a lutra - and now i need one for my new Lutari.

i really like the lutra and the juma (i love foxes...). but i haven't even started thinking 'bout the paint brush for the lutari... you're right, it would be kinda of funny to have them painted with the same brush. i'd better start saving up...

What petpet should I get for my new Lutari? What do you think works best with a Lutari?

is this an piñata's Day kind of thing? all my pets are sick... i tried curing them, but they say you can't cure your own; i tried sending the cure to another pet, but that doesn't seem to have any effect either... any guesses?

how did you get a trophy for habitarium? was it awarded to those who reached level 50 first?

When you get to level 50, for every time you fill your meter at the top you get 500 np. Dumping your eggs gets you lots of np lol. I have 15 nests going 6 soldiers and the rest are working. In a day I can earn about 50 to 80kd depending on how often I dump eggs and how many times i get attacked by the little blue bad guys. :D

Thanks! I can't wait to get to level 50 now! My laptop is getting really hot when I leave Habitarium open, the hard drive seems to work constantly, so I didn't keep up with the leveling... I wonder though if it's time to change my laptop... :sad02:

The little blue bad guys are glitchy... I see a lot of them on my screen, but my soldiers only fight three or four of them, then they have these little funny puzzled faces and questions marks hanging around their heads... By the time the system refreshes, the rest of the bad blue guys disappear though...

I am currently level 35, I wanna level up quicker because I heard that level fiftys are able to make loads of NP a day just by leaving the computer on overnight. Seems like fast money to me. And I love watching those mootixes work, adorable!

 

get more nests. i've got 22 nests, so each time i discard the eggs, i get 4400xp... this helps a lot to level up.

so how does it work for people at level 50? how do you still get NP if you don't level up?

i've been trying for two years for this avatar... no success here... however, i have also tried for the dice-a-roo avatar for ages, until someone advised just playing it until my pets gets bored, every single day,and in three days i got the avatar. i'll try to spend around 100K on this one and see if it works.

i'm only at level 45, but i don't see many glitches now. i've also noticed that sometimes i think i have enough resources, but in fact i don't. there's a lag between using the resources and updating the amount of resources left.

are there any other levels after you've reached level 50?

i like the profession toggle! i just failed to notice a nester had died, and replaced it with a worker... now i can make sure i have all the nesters i need.

i do wonder though what will come next, once you reach level 50... i hope they come up with something else to do besides nesting and gathering... or at least with some new things to get - i don't think i'll buy any of the NC stuff.

i got a battle faerie quest and 30,000 NP later, my pet's stats were increased. not sure it was worth, but i had the neopoints to spend so why not.

also got a crafting faerie quest and got a nice clothing item:

i hope to reach level 40 today, then upgrade my resource tiles. but i agree, my pets are gathering resources but there's not much to do with them... the only good thing is that i collect a lot of neopoints.

i received a space faerie quest. she's asking for an item that's 100,000 NP... should i get it? is it worth? what do people think?

i agree, it is nice to leave the habitarium running in the background and just get the neopoints... i've reached level 38 and i'm hoping i'll get one more level today. got 16 nests and i'm waiting for a worker to die :( to replace it with a nester and get yet another nest.
