  1. Is it sad that I still get excited when a new plushie comes out? Once i learn how to create GOOD graphics and layouts, I intend make layouts for each neopet.

Is that a little high of a goal? haha :D I'll still try

  2. Alright, for me to answer this, I'd have to explain my neoets experience.

    I joined WAYY BACK WHEN

basically 6 years ago. Which wasn't when neopets first came out, but it was before it became super popular. I enjoyed it, but obviously not that much since I played for a year or so, then left. The account was so old when I came back, TNT told me I couldn't get it back, it had been inactive for far too long. This was upsetting, but I ignored it and created a new one.

Left again for 3 years and then, finally came back recently :D

Neopets has a drastic improvement on their graphics ! I love it, I'm a bit sad I missed all the plots and events D: I can't get those avatars now D:

but, I know more will come out soon. I find it bogus and rude they made the NC mall, neopets was supposed to be a free haven for people who just needed to gt out of the real world. Now, anything good is either outragiously high priced, or you have to spend real money. No way am I going to spend my hard earned money on pixels, not until I'm extreamly rich at least XD

but, you really can't get bored. I've watched my days off go by, without even knowing it. Spent entire weekends on it, creating stories and pathetically trying to get avatars and neopoints... but, it's fun XD

I'm a senior in high school and I enjoy neopets more than i did in 6th grade, which in itself, is a bit sad, but I'm a shut in writer XD

no really I have friends I swear. Actually I get mad they put all the plots and stuff during the school year cause I can only log on daily for hours during the summer. But, I'm learning.

I think it's impossible to make everyone happy. So you just have to find joy in the little things, so no matter what, you don't become some angry person that says "I don't want to play neopets anymore cause i can't get what I want." sure, neopets has become far more commercialized, but money makes the world go round. And all that internet space they have to get in order to support the millions of users, it costs money. So you can't blame them for trying to find ways to support themselves and keep the basis of neopets free, ya know? so yeah, the things that cost moeny, have to be cooler than the things that don't, other wise people wouldn't pay to get it. Just accept it the way it is, embrace what you can get, and find ways to get what you want !!

P.S.-- sorry for the super long post o_O

  3. Hmm...to be honest I've never really worried about CGers. I've never expierenced any issue with something like this, and that's probably because my account isn't really on the A-list XD

I mean, it's not bad, but there isn't really anything worth taking. I don't restock or worry about the stock market. I don't play a lot of games and I have like two painted pets...and they certainly aren't rare. haha, I mainly play neopets for the stories I can create with my pets (aka characters) but, with the petpages down, I'm forced to find something else.

But, with so many people telling me about all the issues with CGers, I might start becoming a bit more cautious. I still accept random friend requests, but I don't view their pages or anything. I figure, saying no to a friend request is like having someone walk up to you, say hello, and then just looking at them and walking away.

But, not many people add me, they are ussually for neopets roleplays and typically in my guild. Some have added me from key quest, which immidiately I'm like "I just beat you in key qyest and you want to add me? alright..."

but, regardless, I'll be careful from now on, clean ot all my cookies frequently XD

don't want them to burn anyway !!

  4. Here's my view on this.

If you're in a game with MORE than 2 people, and you're not in a minigame, let the game kick you out. The other two players still get to play, and you're the only one loseing neopoints. Other wise, it's just rude.

So many people have quite on me, it's not even funny. I espeically hate it when they wait until right as you're about to enter the door. Also, I hate it when you're in a game with 4 players, and one decieds he's losing so he'll quite in a mini game, it freezes it for everyone else in the game, and wastes their time.

So, basically- more than 2 players and not in a mini game, feel free to quit. : but, in a mini game or against one player, completely rude.

As for the whole powerup thing, it's whatever. The power ups are random, and I think it's impossible to cheat in an online, multiplayer game. So use all the power ups you can, and also, if you're already losing and they are about to go through the door, and they still use a powerup on you, all well, like you said, you're about to lose, so it really doesn't matter right :D

I still pretty much only play keyquest, it's an easy way to get more than one thousand neopoints and honestly, it's fun :D
