I sent them an email two days ago asking about the status of my account and they never replied :(

Yep, she had a lot of NC items and everything was safe and sound.

Except her, she was MAD. lol

She was happy to get everything back but mad that she could spend so much real life money on Neo and STILL get frozen for no reason. :(

 

I feel the same way, I'm surprised that Neopets shows such little respect towards people who have bought their stuff. Some people are too willing to press the report button without understanding what's actually going on.

Nice :). Was her account the same after they gave it back? I'm worried that my NC items won't be there when/if I go back.

I had my neofriend check my name in her list and it says "Frozen Account." If you search any of my pets it says the user was frozen.

 

I'm sad that my pets are gone...I spent so much time and effort customizing them.

My account still isn't back...I guess it isn't going to come back anymore?

Sorry for the late reply, Firefox kept blocking TDNforums. Silly me, I only recently learned that antivirus doesn't necessarily scan for spyware so I might have be lulled into the false assumption that I didn't have any threats other than tracking cookies :/

I believe I received this because of the NC trade I made last month where the user falsely reported me as a scammer because I sent my items to the wrong person. My account has been locked for protection and I'm afraid that TNT won't believe that I didn't hack or scam anyone. I sent them screenshots of neomails between me and the trader who reported me in the reply mail, and my question is: is there anything I can do to save my account?

 

If I get frozen I'm probably never going to get near Neopets again. I've spent too much time and effort on this account and losing it will be devastating for me-all my years of hard work, and I get frozen due to a misunderstanding.

I don't play games unless it's for AC/DD/GMC, I'm just not into games right now.

Sent a ticket, as it's still not working today. TNT had better fix this fast.

Don't have the patience for this. I chose to challenge Abigail because I already failed to beat AAA on the first day.

Tried refreshing to get the Snow Beast, no success. At least I got two icy neggs from winter random events :)

Yes it's happening to me too...my neofriend's score is listed but mine is still 0.

I just like having more than one because I really like the different species and enjoy the different customizations for each one. Also I have a different pet that I use mostly for the battledome and a different pet I use for the lab ray. Also I use all my pets, you can change who's your active pet so you see the different pet up on the screen.

 

I guess it's like real live pets, why do people have more than one dog or cat or what have you? Different personalities and what not I suppose.

 

Agreed. I give each of my pets a different personality and since I do a lot of customizing I tend to choose pets that look great in a lot of different clothing. Since I'm not allowed/it's not practical for me to own pets in real life, I have a lot of Neopets to compensate for it.

This so much. I'm not really against the NC Mall (sometimes I think it's unfair to people who don't have access) but paying for a 5th pet is a bit outrageous. Talk about taking advantage of the paying customer.

 

Of course, what about the users who are unable to access the mall? Are they out of luck?

 

Loyal user perk is the way to go.

 

I'd rather keep my fifth pet on my second account than have to pay for one...I only have three customizable pets anyways.

Xepha said just a few posts up that both you and your neofriend have to click to do the team challenge before an invitation can be sent between you. Have both you and your neofriend clicked to do the team challenge? My neofriend has not gotten online yet today so I can't tell if that's the problem for me.

 

Yeah the invitation was sent and both of us accepted the team challenge. I read on SN that changing browsers might help with the score-accepting problem, so I might try IE tomorrow as I've already exhausted all three games for the day.

I got the same thing. I don't know what to do. Guess I'll try next Friday.

 

We technically have the whole weekend to complete the challenge. Maybe we should send tickets about this.

Whoops turns out I didn't actually finish the team challenge-my Neofriend sent the challenge to me and I forgot to accept-instead I beat AAA without accepting the team challenge. It's really strange though, both of us did sign up for a team challenge and my NF had a qualifying TC score (saw it on the TC page). But after sending a score twice for the TC my team challenge score is still 0. Is anyone else having this problem?

I'm glad they put this game in the DD-beat team challenge and AAA :)! The prize is pretty impressive.

I thought about it but I need my beauty sleep :P I accidentally clicked Abigail instead of AAA as well and I got a score of 1300... LAAAAME!!!

 

Same thing happened to me. It's okay though, I know I'm not good enough to keep beating AAA...and I'll probably beat him at least once anyways.

You can definitely get a Bag of Peanuts or Snorkle Snout from the Wishing Well. It just takes time...maybe several years for some people.

Worst idea for a Neopoint sink ever...TNT clearly needs to do more thinking.

I totally get what you're saying, but it would probably be hard to manage giving out the code to just the first 50,000 fans since Facebook and Neopet accounts aren't linked.

 

That said, I love free stuff & think the shield is awesome. It doesn't look very good on any of my current customizations, but maybe someday I'll have a use for it.

I'm glad it isn't only for FB fans! It would make me hate both TNT and Facebook, and right now I'm not very fond of the fact that the social networking site is creeping its way into Neopets...
