I got a Parasol of Unfortunate Demise.

I've gone and bought my Perfectly Flat Rock, then toddled off to the Observatory Basement to stick the rock in the gears. But... I got distracted, and I think I did it twice. Now I can't click on the link behind the Jubjub, but I also don't think I have my Rock. (The Janitor seems to think I do). Any advice on how to proceed? Or how to restart this bit?
