Personally, if I were you I would trade for an equal pet to a Choco Draik...you could probably get a UC then just save for a Darigan Draik (buy a Pirate Draik egg, hatch it, then paint it Darigan)

 

I think it would be a waste to paint a Choco Draik since like you said, they are rare...

I had really enjoyed playing with Tomagotchi and similar key chain pets when I was younger. In April 2000, a few years since they were popular, I decided to Google "virtual pets" in hopes that I would find a website that offered the same fun. I came across Neopets and have been playing ever since :) littrell23

LOVE the new color! I also agree that an elderly pet with Royal clothes would look amazing! Especially with some Royal clothes that are from non-US cultures where rulers really do rule until they later years.

To add, I too have made many NPs from restocking. Many of these have been from the Chocolate Factory.

 

Another tip to restocking is try to restock items that are "consumable"...ie. books, food, pharmacy items. I find that if they disappear when you use them, they generally tend to be worth more NPs. That being said, Petpets and Plushies are big collectible items, so you may want to consider those too.

I'm on at completely random times since I'm in grad school, so just neomail me and we can set up a time that works for both of us :)

It's up to you, but I find stockpiling an item like codestones and waiting for a plot will be an expensive venture. They are not cheap and plots are rare, so you'll spend alot of NPs while waiting perhaps a year or more to get any little return on the money. Logically, you'd be better off buying items that you could resell now for a few NPs profit than stockpiling and making on a little more.

 

Something to consider...

All of these suggestions are great, especially Mouseykins' suggestion...I find that people tend to want instant gratification and do not want to wait for their item. They probably have a pet they want to zap RIGHT NOW and will offer more if they think you're online and can get it now.

 

Just another thought - make sure your price is competitive. Perhaps you have done the research and it is, but if not...this might be why they are under-offering...

To second Saxon's comment, I have also had luck with TNT when being very respectful and courteous. If you have an account that is a bit older or are a premium member, you can speak to this too and usually that also helps...

I had a similar problem with a wearable I received from a BK code - I was one of the only ones & didn't know how to price it.

 

My suggestion is 1) wait until you see more (which could take awhile), or 2) set your own price. I would say if there are only 2 on all of NPs, why not start off asking for 10 or 15 mil? You could even ask for more if you really want.

 

Good idea though to advertise it on the boards if you're going to do that. Otherwise, others will start to advertise their's for cheaper & you won't be able to get that price that long.

When I first started restocking from the shops, I started with the Chocolate Factory. This is a good one since it's not too crowded (you usually can get a good buy), and the items are relatively cheap, so you don't need alot of NPs.

 

With any shop, you need to watch frequently to see what items appear often (they are less rare, which means they are worth less) and which items are "left over" after people seem to be done snatching up items (these items are common and/or priced badly - meaning you can get them for cheaper on the Shop Wiz).

 

I have found that most items in the Chocolate Factory will offer you at least SOME profit, so practice first there. If you search items on the Shop Wiz that you see in the shop, you will be able to quickly learn what is worth more and what is not. Also, generally if only 1-3 items are stocked of a particular item when the shop is restocked by TNT, then the item is worth a good deal more than it is being sold for.

Hmmm this is an interesting convo. I didn't know so many ppl used different bdays for their account than their real bday. I did the same and also had to remember it. But then I realized, I wasn't old enough at the time I created my account to make one without my parents permission, or something silly. So I made myself one year older than I was! haha

Does anyone know - to get the avvie - do you have to order all the courses or can you get it with ordering just one item?

I got both bags, but have yet to get the #2 balloon. I'm thinking that it rotates for each person of what they can get at what time. I've been checking fairly often, so I don't think I missed the balloon.

Hi all! I had a new idea (at least I think it's new, since I haven't seen anyone do it) where I'd like to have buttons made for each of my pets.

 

As I'm sure many of you can relate, I have pets with different "personalities" - some are the "bread-winners," some are the "readers," some are the "gamers," etc. And I think it would be cute to have a button made of each pet describing what exactly it was they did!

 

I was thinking something like the Booktastic Book buttons, where I could place one on each of my pet descriptions. I envisioned the face or body of each respective pet species embossed on a gold badge. There would also be shadowing to make it look like a badge.
