luckyhelen 6
Do you use security certificates for website? I've had my design portfolio website for years (hosted via A Small Orange, domain via Namecheap) but now I am planning to sell some work right on my site. I've got WooCommerce all set up and I know I need an SSL certificate. As of now, I barely use any bandwidth of my hosting plan and I doubt it'll increase by much once I start selling some work. I don't know exactly where is the best place to purchase one
joombo 5
Security is very important for any website. It will shows your visitors that website is safe and that leads to greater trust in my brand online. Plus Google ranks websites with SSL higher in search results. For my website I bought comodo ssl , it provides a high level of security and doesn't cost much.
discobiscuit 35
Take a look at Let's Encrypt. They're all about free SSL certificates because encryption should be for everyone. The catch is that you have to renew your certificate every 90 days instead of annually. There are tools that can do that for you automatically or nearly automatically depending on what your hosting service provides.
