They're not really popular when I live, and yet every store always has full dedicated shelves of them despite selling almost none. I think I still prefer the Funko Pops though. Weird. They're selling really well over here, from what I've seen. And every comic con I've been at, every other person I see will walk by with a bag with at least one Funko pop, but usually more. So I highly doubt anyone is being paid off.
