Heard from my friend in France, apparently she lives far away from Paris. Still, the people who did this, if it is who claimed responsibility, they are the kind of people that can patient and can wait for generations if needed before they strike. That's what I've heard from military analysts on the news. Even back in 2001. I think that is something we in the West lack or maybe just don't understand. That resolve and determination. There is a quote that I one of the "Founding Fathers" of America wrote, I think it was Thomas Jefferson. He wrote, "The price of liberty is eternal vigilance." I think that's something we all need to take to heart in the West. It stinks, but we live in uncertain times these days.
 
Looks like there were nearly 500 victims, about 130 were killed, the rest being wounded. At least those are the numbers I see on the news in the US at the moment. Even though I can see this as evil,  the lack of all respect for life of those who are different that these, well, whatever you wanna call 'em, have, is really hard to comprehend. Especially with the cruelty they display. In the past and still now and probably in the future too. Just, so insane. :(

Generally speaking, ask a member of the moderation team if you are unsure of what to do. From what I remember (from when I was staff), if a topic is over a year, year and half old, it's probably better to create your own thread. Otherwise, if you really have something to say that adds to the conversation, you can reply to the original thread. Again, feel free to PM one of the wonderful member of the moderation team if you have a more precise question.

If you are sure of yourself, change your major as soon as possible. The more you wait, the more unhappy you will be in what you are currently doing. I know it for a fact because I almost completed a degree before saying out loud this is not for me, going to arts instead. Of course, some people looked at me as if I had done the biggest mistake of my life but my mom was always supportive of all my decisons.
 
If you don't know how to break the news, I'd give you one piece of advise someone gave me recently. There will never be a right moment. So as soon as you are (alone perhaps?) with your mom, explain her how you feel and why you believe you should change your major. If you are rational about it and lay down your arguments, I'm sure she will be happy to listen.

Oh goodness, saw news of this on Tumblr but didn't know it was this serious. Good thing I don't go on Neopets much now, everything seems to be a mess.

You can actually google "BBB" which stands for Better Business Bureau. They are taking complains about everything and anything. 

I know I haven't posted in a very long time it seems.I'm going to be taking college classes to become a pharmacy technician in the future and am soaking up my free time while I have it, but my birthday was awesome!
 
My mom and I went to New York to a restaurant that specializes in teas and got some delicious rooibos and oolong tea. There was a used video game store near the tea place and I picked up Link's Awakening, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance and a Kirby game for my N64. Sadly the Kirby game didn't work.
 
Anyway life has been awesome lately. How about you guys? :)

I'm pretty sure Desertfreak didn't use a script. She right clicked and pressed "View source" or "Inspect element". If TNT doesn't want people to do that, then they should disable right clicking on the site... Besides, the avatar counter on TDN works from viewing the page source, too.

Life is up and down and that's for all of us. Remember to take time for yourself and to do things that you enjoy. You need to find a balance and to let go some pressure. School can be a problem if you are setting high expectations for yourself. As for family, you can be the one who suggest that you spend more time together - as a family. For instance, taking meal together is a great occasion to talk about your day and what is stressing you.
 
Things might be rough right now, but I'm sure you are a wonderful and amazing person. Take good care of yourself and feel free to send me a PM if you need someone to talk to.

The lookups were originally disabled by staff as it was suspected that they were contributing to the websites lag problem.
