  1. Hey Granny, is everything ok? Are you alright now? Ramadhan started and it's taking me a little time to balance my fasting & worship with classes & Guild things. I didn't forget about you!

I hope you're Ok & cleared to post on TDN now if you want.

    Peace be with you. ~360

Ramadhan lasts 29 or 30 days (we follow a lunar calendar). Don't worry, we eat an Early breakfast called Suhur and usually break our fasts at sunset with dates and milk to help energize us.

      It's all good, Granny. 😉

Yes, the Cheeto Troll Doll has spoken 10 Best Toys From The '90s To Buy For Your Kids, Because They Were ... and my Gov. Bobblehead jumps through hoops to do the ugly Doll's bidding. My dad hasn't had to go back to work in his office, he's still doing his work from home. But other ppl aren't so lucky. Without enough testing and no proven treatment method, it is VERY reckless!

Thanks, my family and I are fine, thanks be to God. Tornadoes are scary-and we prepare for them, have our safety space & staying at home, so this is manageable. Crazy Gov. Bobblehead (Abbot) opening Texas is way more scary & unprepared for! I'd rather NOT be the canary to see if it is safe for everyone to go out now!

Are you sure that you're blocked? I could search you up & go to your User Look Up, Shop, & Gallery and doesn't say that you are frozen. Did your Gallery ONLY have a Colorful Magical Negg ? I don't think that I'm allowed to ask for someone else's account. Just email them at:[email protected] . Tell them about your Pets, valuable items in your SDB (nerkmids, codestones, stamps from events like Altador Cup, Paint Brushes, Morphing Potions, rare items like rare Battledome equipment, and what email your Neopets account is connected to.

Sorry it took me awhile to see your message. My mom & I were in a bad car accident on Thursday, Feb.27th. You must have sensed something. Anyway were okay, mom is a little sore and I am fine,n thanks be to God. ?

Missing you a lot. If this is really not working for you to email them (Elle just got her old account back- lenabellex)

then give me some information-BUT NOT the password or they'll think I'm trying to hack your account. Okay?

I will check TDN later to see if it worked for you. Take care! Peace be with you. ~lil bro

At least we ended up being ok. When they made us evacuate yesterday (Mon., 12/16) at 3:30 pm, we were in Clubs, so most of us didn't have our backpacks or jackets (cold front came through that afternoon and dropped the temp. from 75 to 55). Only had my phone, so I called my mom to let her know.

We actually had no idea what was going on as they first herded us into the "caged" soccer field we share with the Middle school and we were freaking out bc we felt like "fish in a barrel" bc the rumor was there was an active shooter at our campus (not true).  Then they moved all of us-High, Middle, & Elementary to the muddy field on the other side of the Middle school and a teacher told us that it was a bomb threat at the Middle School (again, not true-rumors!) and we were like, "Why are we being moved closer to the threat?" We saw the Elementary kids being really scared, some crying, so we were trying to help them feel better-share jackets with them if we had them & they didn't. Was really an experience I could have done without.

Thanks be to God, for keeping us safe! Alhumdulillah!

Thanks for your caring & concern. I can't believe that are elected officials act like this should be our "norm" now-dealing with possible threats. To see those little ones so terrified, it breaks your heart. This should NOT be the "norm". WHEN is the US going to get it's act together & pass sane gun laws that restrict guns that are specifically made to kill many quickly? I realize that it turned out to be a bomb threat, but we were really expecting it to be a shooter (VERY glad it wasn't). ?

I voted for you at least 4 times, then my homework took up the rest of my week! :laughingsmiley: Thanks for the compliment on my story. I was really hoping that JS/TNT would take the hint to renovate the Tyrannian Concert Hall!:snitch:

  7. I am very thankful to my Guild Buddies at TKP and my friends at TDN that helped out with all those expensive items in a super-deluxe care package: 16 expensive stamps, coins, & scarabs from my Wish List; about 40 gourmet treats (super rare, ultra rare)-clearing that Wish List; 6 Christmas Petpets-nearly clearing that Wish List; and a complete set of codestones that they provided for me to encourage me through the sadness of losing a good friend unexpectedly from a car accident. I appreciate all the kind words and support that everyone has sent to help me work through my grief, your words and positive vibes were very much appreciated and touched my heart. Thank you, one and all!

Well, seems like I was "out" for awhile, so I just have to find my 'niche' and get back into it again.

The funeral was more awkward than I expected, seeing pictures of my friend with me when we were together at school events was...bittersweet? Nice but sad. I sat with my classmates- nearly our whole section (there are 4 sections of 25 students to each level, give or take a few) while my mom sat with my Turkish Science Teacher (he had contacted all of the students & drove from OK to TX to be at my friend's funeral) and with his wife & 3 yr. old son, Suliman. Suliman used to have my friend as his babysitter any time he was brought to school events last year AND my friend & I spent many Friday nights, sleeping over at this teacher's home for a special College Prep Program (if the teacher hadn't been Muslim, I don't think my parents would have let me stay at a teacher's house) and we had really 'bonded' with Suliman. Anyway, Suliman kept asking his mother where was my friend, why wasn't he here, why was everybody crying, and why were they hugging my friend's mommy so much? Thankfully in Turkish-my mom said. Some of the 'congregational' ppl kept shooting looks over at Suliman during the 2 hour service, which was 95% in Spanish (I could only get a word here & there, my mom explained more to us afterward), and at the end of the service, the little guy was kind of cranky. When one church member made a comment about small children shouldn't attend funerals (in Spanish) my mom turned around and said very loudly in English, "Don't you think it was amazing how well behaved (my friend's name)'s 3 year old son for such a long time? I mean, a 2 hour service after traveling all the way from OK? Just a wonderful job, right?" Then she turned back around to walk with my teacher's wife & child, not waiting for their response.

Another awkward thing for me was so much music, they even played the piano & drums through their prayers, which made it hard to figure out when they were praying. For my mother, she had been formally excommunicated from the Baptist religion (and the Catholic one, for my grandmother divorcing her first husband who was a drug addict, and the Baptist one, for my grandmother "consorting with the devil to speak in tongues (she had started going to Pentecostal services)", and when we got back in the car, she explained what the "pitch" was at the end- tying my friend's death into a very long and drawn out  "attempt" to make non-Christians consider their eternal destination, which I could tell she was trying to be fair in presenting their words but at home she said, "When that pastor told those grieving parents that they might be sad today but think how happy & how much you will be celebrating when you are reunited with him and that their son would really want un-Believers to be brought to salvation through his death, if need be-I had a hard time convincing myself to stay seated & not punch that guy in the nose for what I considered was a very cheap shot at their expense!"
