Honestly? I've been through quite a bit of failed relationships and has beens. What I found out after I met my now-wife is that it's better to just be yourself. Enjoy the other person's company and find someone you enjoy talking to that brings out the sort of you that you always wanted to be, even if it's not the who you are right now.

I believe that a lot of relationships fail because at the fundamental level, they can't see each other as friends. And having a partner is supposed to be rooted in something similar, for me anyway. There's also a clear line between someone who accidentally hurts you and someone who abuses you. Sometimes it can be hard to differentiate the two. The key thing is to care for yourself more. The more you love yourself the more you can love your partner.

Last thing I would say though, is just take your time. Enjoy whatever it is you have right now and move forward with a comfortable pace. It's not a race.

This is one of the better polkadot pets, though that unfortunately's not sayin' much as they generally always look pretty bad; the yucky shade of blue, or the equally yucky shade of pink is just, well, yucky. 🙃 The blue bits on this one don't seem quite such an unpleasant colour as they usually use.

Look how fabulous it looks on my pirate where it's not fighting for attention. As an aside - this pet, that just sits ignored on my side and was adopted solely so the Quig on there wasn't on his own. I now have the urge to do some intensive cross-painting and get them ALL THE COLLARS, just for the heck of it. Long-term mega expensive Neo-goals?

This green is a pretty colour and a great contrast, though the cream on the ruff's not doing if for me.
 This guy looks awesome! the feet and brows are a nice shade, but for me it's the grounding done by the big dark eyes that does it.
Starting to decide it's pets with ruffs etc. that break up the expanse of dots, that look best. Would have benefitted from darker eyes too but hey ho.
Anyways, on to the outfit! Totally agree with @Mouseykins about the parasol. I mean come on, it's a species specific item and you couldn't make it fit better ??
And while OH MY GOURD YAY to hair and hat on separate layers, it's looking like the hair's just been plonked on top of the ears there. This Blum is suffering from the same follicular embarrassment that the poor Gnorbu is perpetually afflicted with.

I shall be looking out for the neckerchief for my Blum, and I'll try the hair on her, maybe. I mean it looks nice, but unless they fix the ear issue I'll not want it, and they'll not fix the ear issue. I'm underwhelmed by the hat which makes me sad. It's like a slap in the face when they release a hat that can be worn with any wig but I don't like it much. xD

Also, can I just say, the Oil Paint Ixi is GORGEOUS.

The Oil Paint Ixi is just beautiful, I love the chosen colours together, the green and yellow makes me think of grass and flowers, like a meadow with yellow flowers, perfect for an Ixi to play around on. ❤️ The brush strokes has such a texture to them, it almost looks like fur, and I love how consistent it is, on every area of the body. I also really like how the hooves, horns and eyes are all the same colour, it brings a nice symmetry to the whole look. The collar can be a bit distracting for this colour, it might look better without it, but overall a gorgeous, beautiful well done Oil Paint pet. Thank you, TNT!
I looove the outfit, it`s sooo cute!! ❤️ The little boots, and the dress is just adorable. I would have liked even better if the wig had been pigtails or a braid, both it really looks lovely. Love the little heart necklace as well, such a nice detail. What a solid pet day!

    I prefer the darker coloured Dimensional pets, so this looks nice to me, even if the colour itself is really boring and hard to work with.
  The outfit looks fantastic, who doesn`t love a gentleman in a top hat, lol. I like that he has a cane as well, and the pink and brown go together well, the green tie breaks it up nicely. Very good!

My trick is obsessively hoarding items, realizing you don't actually need 30 of them, and finding that the price has inflated in the meantime. 

I keep my acara, Disorder__36, painted candy because I like how it looks texture and colorwise. I hope that someday I will be able to see her smile in the right place. Will the glitch ever be fixed, I wonder?
edit- I only just realized yesterday that she has blue hearts on her horns and skin. It took putting a bow that also had hearts for me to notice.

Sure is! Brings back wonderful memories of watching it with my son, we loved Captain Planet and the Planeteers. Haha, I even found a packet of cheap generic plastic rings at the toy shop and they matched all the colours of the Planeteer rings. He was over the moon with them. Good times....

I totally agree that the balloon is weird. I don't like it when they provide "aside objects" to the four-legged pets, without letting them have it in their paws, or simply they could come up with something different than a self-held item.
 
All the Eyries have manes like that, male or female ones, so elderly is no exception here... Although I agree, that once you look at the male one and think of it as a giant "granpa-like" beard, then female seems to be weird...
Professor Mcgonagal reference's on point. As for hair, though - I like it the way it is. Don't you see the recline hair :D? The one you get when you are older and older (at least as for men mostly)? I, myself, like it quite a lot :)
