That's very weird... I've googled this issue, but most people seem to have the opposite problem (they actually want pop-ups to open in tabs), and there's even an add-on which provides this functionality. Is there any chance you might have this extension installed?

Maybe not quite as severe as a Brit who doesn't like tea (I do really enjoy stroopwafels, after all), so I think my citizenship is safe for now. (Being mocked is very much on the table, however.)

But.. the steam from the tea makes it moist, which kills the crispiness. (I feel like not being able to warm a stroopwafel over a cup of tea properly means I'm failing as a Dutch person. XD)

I think they made it in a bit of a rush, and only considered functionality, not its placement in the Neo world. But it's great, and I love it! This is sooooooo much better. I might actually get through my SDB before the CC ends, which I didn't think I would, considering how slow everything was.

That's a while ago, but while some things have changed (some things were added, like Trudy's Surprise, other things are gone/broken, like Key Quest), a lot has stayed the same. (As you've noticed. ) Lol, I love how they translated waffles (even though wafels isn't that different), but left stroop the same. I guess it's for "authenticity", but for people who've never heard of stroopwafels, this isn't going to make any sense. XD You know, I ate tons of stroopwafels growing up (obviously), but I only saw people put them on top of their coffee/tea mugs recently. We never did that at home (and I still don't, to be honest - it might be nice that the syrup part gets soft, but the waffle gets soft as well, and I prefer it crispy). So I have no issue with the tiny ones. Maybe that's because it's such a different type of waffle? It's all thin and crispy, nothing like the (Belgian) waffles usually served in the US. (Those kinds of waffles are often served with syrup as well, but both the waffles and the syrup are completely different.)

Not really sure if there's a definitive answer to this question - it's probably quite subjective. I'm guessing pets that are painted a rare (/expensive) colour (like Stealth or Candy) will quite easily find a new home, but many others will probably do really well too. Here's a list of pet/colour combos in The Neopian Times that the writer deems most appealing. This random (old) forum thread also discusses popular colours (and species), but judging by the amount of colours listed, I'm guessing it really just depends on who you're asking.

I was wondering if anyone else would do this (my mum did it too, and I thought her line of thinking made a lot of sense), but the "discard" option in the dropdown is not related to the Charity Corner. After you've clicked the 'I don't need it' button for 10 items, go directly to the CC page to pull the lever to donate them. You don't need the dropdown at all. Discarding items through the dropdown will actually discard them, instead of donating them to the CC. (Which explains why the total of items on the hub page is always one less than you thought you had; the discard option only discards one item at the time (the item displayed in the pop-up at that moment), so the others will be taken to the hub page, while that one was discarded.) So, I'm sorry, but you won't get any points for any items you discarded using the dropdown. ?

I'd like to think aim has something to do with it, but since the link that @Duskitty posted exists, I highly doubt that's the case. I'm pretty sure every throw just generates a random number that determines if you hit or miss.

I have a Master's degree in film studies, which is completely useless, so I went back to college a few years ago to do a training program to become a software engineer. (I went from having zero job prospects to getting multiple messages from recruiters a week - super weird.)

Weird! Maybe some add-on is preventing the button from working. Anyway, now that you apparently have to use 2 browsers to make this work: have you tried Firefox? That's the browser I've been using and I haven't had any issues.

It's weird that it doesn't work for you on Chrome - but just to check, you wrote nothing happens after clicking the yellow button, but you did actually pull the lever to donate, right? I think they just copied that bit from last year, when they did show up in the FAQs, so I'm assuming it'll be pretty much the same list as last year as well. Unfortunately, slow webpages are a side effect of increased traffic to said webpages. The servers just aren't equipped to handle this much activity, and the website slows down a lot. It's annoying, but also very common, and probably not something they're going to want to get extra server space for.

Did you move the dress to the closet with the other items, or did you never even see it in your inventory? Any chance it's an NC item and is still at the bottom part of your inventory?

I think it only shows the accurate point total after refreshing the page. (You're getting the correct amount of points, but it's only shown when viewing the total by clicking the orange button; the points per donation (when clicking the tray) don't seem to be correct.) (However, it's currently not taking my items at all, so there's definitely some glitching going on.)

Aim has nothing to do with it, this kind of interface just makes us feel like we have some control over it. But they don't take away max health, do they? I mean, my pets lose health from the wheels (and other dailies) all the time, but it'll look something like this: (I'm really bad at keeping my pets well-fed.) The 316 on the right doesn't get lower, just the number on the left. With @bonobuster's pet, it looks like the health affected is the number on the right (the maximum health possible for this pet), which sounds like a glitch to me. A visit to the healing springs should return lost health to 1/1 not "heal" 0/0 to 0/1...

It'll probably happen quite soon, but I don't think there's an exact date (known) yet. CC is one of the few events that doesn't happen at the same time every year. (We've had a winter CC as well as a spring one.) But based on what I've read in other threads on TDN, it should be happening very soon.

That's very odd! Is this happening to all your pets? (Or do you only have 1?) What species is your pet? Has this been happening for a long time? Do you have any screenshots or something to illustrate this? I doubt there's anything anyone on TDN is able to do about this, as this definitely sounds like a glitch on Neopets' side, but some more info might be useful to get a better grasp of what's happening. (Sorry about all the questions, I've just never heard of this happening before.)

I think it took me about 6 months of playing (almost daily), before I finally knocked one down. Completely normal. You can hit a coconut, then not move your mouse at all for the next throw, and still miss it by a mile. I never quite figured out which 'a' in 'play again' should be used, so I alternate between all 3. Doesn't matter at all though, and other spots can work just as well. I think I'm still more impressed by the games where I only missed 1 or 2 throws than by the ones where I knocked down a coconut. ?
