  1. Joining the crowd, with this one: Something Has Happened! You are now eligible to use 'Charity Corner 2019' as an avatar on the NeoBoards! Congratz to all!
  2. I think she looks great! Still room to add other stuff, but I like it, for far!
  3. Is this the Tooth Faerie? Or a badly drawn centaur? Or a Faerie with wings in the wrong place? Not sure who this is , but surprised Neopets showed so much "leg". Didn't this gal create some controversy over the way she was drawn? I think I like Baelia the best. It is fitting for a Grey Faerie, and I think I see a smile. So, Baelia, dedicating this song to you:
  4. Per MapleHood's guide, concerning the unfireable manager: And, Based on that, and it's been awhile since I played, I believe the manager gets paid every update, which would be 8 times a PT day - 656 NP a day (82 NP per update, X 8 = 656), - only during the PT hours. EDIT: To answer your question directly, yes, I believe the Manager only gets paid during the PT operating hours. May want to ask on the PT topic on the "Games" Neoboard.
  5. That is normal, as the connection is not secure. Neopets has never used "https://" for the main site. However, the NC Mall does use "https://". Chrome and Firefox have added the "not secure" notification, so you are aware. Edge will tell you the connection is not encrypted, if you click on the "i", in the circle icon, to the right of Edge's address bar. Although, Neopets should go to a secure site, nothing has changed, since the beginning. "Not secure" doesn't affect Flash, and using Edge won't make Neopets any more secure than Firefox or Chrome.
  6. A "grey screen" is almost always an Adobe Flash issue. Take a look at this TDN topic for enabling Flash for Neopets within Chrome and Firefox: http://thedailyneopets.com/articles/enabling-flash-on-neopets/ Although it does list Edge, if you are on Windows 10, version 1809, Microsoft changed the way Flash works with Edge, with that update. Although it is possible to still use Edge, it is a bit more complicated. Overall, it is easier with Chrome and Firefox. If you wish to still use Edge, though, please post and I will explain how. A few things to note, with the above link: 1. Make sure you are on Neopets (www.neopets.com), or on Neopets in a separate tab, when completing the instructions. 2. If you do not see the "Block icon" for Firefox, follow these instructions: For Firefox, click on the "i", in the circle, located to the left of the Neopets web address, in the address bar. Where is says, "Connection Is Not Secure", click on the arrow pointing right. Next, click "More Information". In the new window that opens, click the "Permissions" tab/icon. In the list, look for "Run Adobe Flash". Change it from "Use Default", to "Allow". Close that window. Refresh your Neopets tab. If you don't see "Run Adobe Flash", you will need to download & install Flash. If you still get the "grey screen" after following the instructions, it may help to clear your browser's cache (temporary Internet files), and check to make sure Flash is up-to-date. If you have any questions, please post.
  7. MapleHood's guide is to get you started. And SungMinty's is more of a "visual" version of MapleHood's guide: http://www.neopets.com/~sungminty Highly recommend you read SungMinty's page, as it compliments MapleHood's. The "cost", for your first few batches of plushies, are to keep you on track. Yes, stick with Green Cloth, NeoCotton, Rare Gem, and Paper Bag. And make sure it is 3900 or less, before buying. Why? If I recall correctly, green cloth is the cheapest. HOWEVER, if red cloth, for example, is on special, and your cost is 3900 or less, then buy red cloth. NeoCotton, Rare Gem, and Paper Bag all add value to your plushies, when they are sold in your store. If you use Neofoams or the Neopian Times, sure, they will be cheaper to make, but, also, will not sell as much as if you use NeoCotton, so stick with it, for the first couple of jobs. If, at any time, any of the higher priced items are on special (gems, velvet bags) and you are under the 3900 or less purchase limit, then buy those. If you stick with MapleHood's recommendations, you "should" get the avatar at the end. Once you start a few batches, and have seen a few cycles, you will get the hang of it. The reason for the 3900 cost for your first job? Take a look at SungMinty's page under "Cost Accounting for the First Build ", and you may notice that after all of your first rents, recommended upgrades, labor costs, shipping costs, etc, that you will have approx. 3992 "cash on hand", from your initial 50, 000. Yes, you can mix & match jobs. The idea is to find which type of plushie (Chia, Kacheeck, etc) sells for the best price. That price can change though, so while Chias might sell for a good price the first two cycles, the price could go down, the next, so making different types of plushies is a good idea. If you have any questions, there is ALWAYS, a "Plushie Tycoon Help Board" topic, on the "Games" Neoboard, for the current month. Here is April's: http://www.neopets.com/neoboards/topic.phtml?topic=159952254 They are friendly, and someone will try to answer your question, as best they can. There are "regulars", on the board. If you look through all of the topic pages, you will get an idea who is a "regular". They usually have the "best/correct" answers.
  8. Still looking for the last post...

  10. May want to check your Flash version. Latest is 32.0.0.171. If you aren't on the latest, try updating. If you are on the latest Flash, sometimes, with Flash automatically updating, it may not install correctly. You may want to try uninstalling Flash, from Windows "Programs and Features", rebooting, and then going to Adobe's website and downloading and installing Flash. I take it sound is working on other sites, like YouTube, etc? May want to make sure Firefox is the latest, too. Latest is 66.0.3.
  11. I randomly picked Order. (Yeah, it sounded better in my head, than on paper. Good thing I have a day job, already). Good luck, everyone!
  12. Don't think I didn't see either post. I've got my eyes on this board...
  13. It is a very, very tiny link, about the size of a pixel. Change the "zoom" of your browser to 300%, which makes the page/picture a lot larger. CTRL + (holding down the control key key, and hitting the "+" key) usually works for increasing the zoom, for most browsers, while CTRL - (holding down the control key and hitting the "minus" key) will make it decrease back to default. The "larger" picture makes it, somewhat, easier to find the "hidden" link. Move your cursor to the bottom, left corner of the picture - the very, bottom left, where the left side of the picture meets the bottom of the picture - the very point to where those two lines meet. You will know you have it, when your cursor turns to the "hand" HTML link pointer. Once you have found the link and clicked on it, change your "zoom" back to normal, or 100%.
  14. Which web browser do you use, when you are on Neopets - Google Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Internet Explorer 11, Edge, etc?
  15. Yep. It is not really an issue with an ad blocker, but one you can have, if you aren't using one. An ad is supposed to play, before (all?) most games load, but for some unknown reason, it doesn't. Due to either Neopets, or the ad provider Neopets is using. The ads are not Flash based, but HTML5. By installing an ad blocker plugin/extension for your browser, it "should" block the ad, and take you straight to the game loading screen. However, I have heard of the "black screen, and three red dots" issue still happening with certain ad blockers, one being uBlock Origin. I use Ad Block Plus, and don't have the issue, so give it a try if your ad blocker of choice is still giving the issue. EDIT: If you are using an ad blocker, and get the screen, try updating the filters, and then, refresh the page. On occasion, I have to do that with ABP. Not sure why, but sometimes the filters stop/don't update. Also, I do not use an special filters for Neopets, so if you are using those, try removing them and see if the ad is blocked.
  16. Not sure, but "reading" her "body language", I kinda take it as sarcasm. You know, as in "Thanks...": And, "I really needed this...":
  17. Did you already get the book, or do you need one? Please let me know.
  18. Strawberry is always, well, strawberry. I think it is a nice color, though, but it would seem hard to customize with. As for Jelly, it looks like he has one mean five o' clock shadow going on. I like the "shine" on it, but it looks flat, to me. The outfit is nice, too. "Grandma, is that you?!"
