  1. Are you still having issues? Which browser are you using? Maybe something subconsciously is telling you to learn another language?!
  2. Perk Shop not open, yet. When it is, I'm sure TDN will post a "News" announcement, along with a link. From my understanding, your leftover points, from last year, weren't added to your total points earned. Again, only my understanding, so I may be wrong. We will find that out, when the Perk Shop opens. I have 445 "carry over" points from last year, and earned 12563. If the 445 is added, then I should have 13008 points. I'll post my total points, when the shop opens. Hope this helps.
  3. It's time. Time for AC XIV! I can't believe it has been a year, since Terror Mountain placed 3rd, on the podium! Still riding that "Rocky Mountain High"! I don't know how we will do this year, but, I look forward seeing old friends, new friends, and even other AC team supporters, posting on this thread, and riding the avalanche called "Altador Cup". We'll laugh, we'll cry, we'll get angry, we'll get happy, and just support whatever AC goals you may have. You may be reaching for All-Star, or just to get one game played. It doesn't matter. Team Terror Mountain is here for you. Please don't be shy to post. We want to hear from you. So, as I always do, here is our pre-AC motivational song, to get you ready for AC XIV!!!!!! ? (singing) Terror Mountain in the Hall of Fame ?
  4. Yea! The Awakened WON! Looks like @Robin Hood got his avatar after all!
  5. If the Angelpuss is available, I'll try to give it a good home. Please note, Turmy has eaten 3 of my petpets, so I you don't wish to give it to me, I'll understand, as I don't plan to stop visiting that giant petpet.
  6. I play Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp on my smartphone. I like the descriptions. It's enough to keep me going, but I can put it down, in between. I think they did a good job.
  7. Signed up for Terror Mountain, again. Have fun, everyone, and see you in the Colosseum! GO TERROR MOUNTAIN!
  8. Take a look on the "Avatars/NeoSignatures" NeoBoard, located here: http://www.neopets.com/neoboards/boardlist.phtml?board=21 Sometimes, individuals will make a topic of either asking for a code, to get the Space Faerie as a challenger, or one for giving away codes. A very kind Neopian gave me a code, on such a board (code give-away), and I eventually got the avatar (used the "Throw Pillows" method). I haven't seen as many boards, recently, but, you never know.
  9. I'm game. We'll "rob" from the Brute Squad and Order of the Red Erisim, to give to the Robin Hood...
  10. Are you sure you are finished? In case anyone didn't notice, it looks like the FAQ has been updated, and please note: So, it looks like we still have another week of donating, that is, of course, if you still have items to donate ?!!! Charity Corner 2019 officially ends on 27 May 2019, at 23:59:59.
  11. I've never seen that before, or if I did, I don't remember it. Anyhow, don't fret. My pet doesn't have any special abilities, either. But, he can hold his own, in the Battledome, especially with the "new" Faerie Abilities, that require "blessings". If you may remember, the (now) Battledome was in beta for a loonnggg time. I believe this page references the "abilities" from the "old" Battledome, which is no longer. My pet did battle in the "old" one, but not sure if he ever received "abilities" from it. Since the "old" Battledome is no longer, the page may not be able to reflect the "old" abilities your pet may have had. EDIT: Found this, on JellyNeo. (I did try TDN first, but the link took me to the Item Database): http://battlepedia.jellyneo.net/?go=old_faerie_abilities Tast...er, cute pet, by the way. Looks like he is ready to "kick some bun", in the Battledome.
  12. I'm the same way, with the CC. I don't really like spending my hard earned NP, unless I have to. If I was close, and needed just a few things to reach the CC points I wanted, I would buy something(s). But, I would go the cheaper route, if possible. Or, if TDNers are selling items in their shops, but may be a bit more, I will buy the item from them. At least I know where/who my NP is going to. And, that's why I posted how I did. I, too, have a lot of dubloons gathering dust. My pet is well out of the Pirate Training School. I thought about donating them, but knew they were R101. For me, it seems a bit of work to donate a lot of R101s, just to get 1 point each. But, when I checked your idea, and knew it was "sound", I figured I should post. I may end up doing as you suggest, but still am unsure. See item below. For the life of me, I just can't seem to donate ANY Advent Calendar items, no matter how old they are, how much dust they gather, or how rare they are. That is my most favorite time of the Neo year. Too much nostalgia, I guess. You know, I think you are on to something. Maybe Magon made the CC donation machine, or had something to do with. If you remember, he WAS testing portals in Brightvale, a while ago. And, wasn't he sentenced to teach science experiments to beginners? Then again, based on how his portals worked, I'm expecting some lucky (or unlucky) Neopian to end up with ALL donated items appearing in their SDB! Just think, enough stuff to be able to donate for the next decade of CCs!
  13. Altador Cup - You join a team. There are 18, each representing a different Neopian Land. You get a prize(s), just for signing up. You play as much of "Yooyuball", "Make Some Noise", "Shoot-Out Showdown"", and "Slushie Slinger" as your body and mind can handle, during about a 25/30 day period. (It can be mind-numbingly monotonous). There are, now, daily "caps" on the amount of games score you can submit, a day, but each score you submit gives you points towards the AC Prize Shop, and gives points to towards your chosen team. You can go from Rank 1 (get a team avatar for reaching) to All-Star, depending on how "hard" you play. Depending on how your team does, it can either rise or fall on the overall leader board. In the end, if you picked the "right" team, your team may be on the podium, in either 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place. When it's over, then, you can relax, and wait for the prize shop to open, to spend your hard-earned points. You laugh. You cry. You get happy. You get mad. You get carpal tunnel syndrome. Your eyes glaze over. But, you aren't crazy. The "crazy" ones are the Kadders, who still Kad, and max out the daily caps, for all 4 games, for the entire AC. Respect. Other things you can do are posting on your Team's topic on the "Site Events" Neoboard, on Neopets, or post on a team board, here, on TDN. In the past couple of years, there has even been an "all teams" board on TDN.
  14. And when Blatzley "graduates" from the Pirate Training School, hold on to 'em to either donate or sell for the next CC...
  15. Definitely post, as @hrtbrk mentioned, on the link she provided. It is to the current "Ticket Waiting Board #50 - HIGHWAY TO HELP" topic, on the "Help" Neoboard. TNT "support" has been known to take a look at ticket numbers posted there, and sometimes post on the board itself. The topic has links to helpful pages, from other Neopians, on what to provide in the "support" email. The individual who make the topic, is fairly active there, and on the "Help" Neoboard, in general, and provides good advice. Good luck!
  16. No, it doesn't seem ridiculous, but it depends on HOW you spend the dubloons. Let's view some "facts": From @hrtbrk, on the TDN "Charity Corner 2019 Begins!" topic: One Dubloon Coin is R101 (Rarity 101). Five Dubloon Coin is R101 (Rarity 101), too. And you, @jellysundae, mentioned the "Little Nippers" petpets are R102+ (Rarity 102 +). So, let's just assume the petpets are R102. From hrtbrk, donating a R102 will give you 4 points. If you buy a petpet using five "One Dubloon Coin", you will have a loss of 1 Charity Corner point. 5 "One Dubloon Coin", donated to CC would give you 5 points. However, if you use 5 "One Dubloon Coin" to purchase a R102 petpet and donate it, you would only get 4 CC points. In that case, it could be "ridiculous". Now, if you purchase a petpet using 1 "Five Dubloon Coin", and then donate the petpet to CC, you would "net" 3 CC points, in a sense, per petpet donated, vs just donating the "Five Dubloon Coin". In that case, it's a good idea.
  17. You could try "Restore settings to their original defaults", in Chrome. Please note, this may happen, when you do: To do so: 1. Open Chrome. 2. Click on the three vertical "dots", located near the top, right corner of Chrome. 3. Select "Settings". 4. Scroll down to the bottom of the page, and click "Advanced". 5. Scroll down to the bottom of the page, again, and click "Restore settings to their original defaults". 6. You will receive a message, as quoted above. Click "Reset settings". If that doesn't help, then, if it was me, I'd uninstall Chrome, reboot, and download/install Chrome from Chrome's website. Hopefully, one of those will get the Neopets "Inventory" pop-ups working again.
  18. No, they do not do purges, THAT often. Take a look at this Neopian Times Editorial, Issue: 771, 3rd day of Running, Y19, Question #4: ref: http://www.neopets.com/ntimes/index.phtml?section=editorial&week=771 That question was asked in 2017. I'm not sure when the last purge happened, but it was well before 2014, when Neopets was still owned by Nickelodeon. As you can see by the response, "purges" take a big load on the servers and they have to configure how it works. But, I agree, a purge would probably clear out a lot, from the servers. Then again, it might "break" Neopets completely.
  19. If I remember correctly, the "numbers" are used for Neopians (user accounts) under the age of 13. May have to due with COPPA laws, but I'm not 100% sure. Don't know if the "numbers" signify anything, either.
  20. At least she isn't like this truly Abandoned Neopian. I feel sad for her, and do visit, on occasion, just to say "Hi!": Back to donating! Thanks for the links! I just might be able to make my CC goals, yet!
  21. My apologies. Don't know why I was thinking perks. The Gift Shop is for the NC portion of Charity Corner. JellyNeo has some info here: http://www.jellyneo.net/?go=charity_corner You buy "Clutter Boxes", activate them, then donate your unwanted NC items. In return, you will receive "Badges of Freedom". You can then redeem the "Badges" for NC items listed in the Gift Shop.
  22. Take a look here: http://www.neopets.com/charitycorner/2019/perks/ And I hope they still plan on doing this, as mentioned in The Neopian Times, Issue 862, 12th Day of Eating, Y21 (12 April 2019), Question #4: ref: http://www.neopets.com/ntimes/index.phtml?section=editorial&week=862 So, when the Perk Shop opens, PLEASE post if if this does happen to you, and what you got!
  23. I looked in the "FAQs" too, but couldn't see them listed, either. Was hoping to find out. I have all of the "clickable" avatars, so it would be nice to know if it is only for those, so then I could figure out if I'd need to donate for more points, or not.
  24. Yes, we know the "truth" about Granny. Looks like she finally "retired". She took all of the items we donated, from previous CCs, and sold them on the Neopian Black Market. She now resides, or owns and lives on *dun, dun, DUN* LUTARI ISLAND! Yes, the Island covered in "fog", and no one can reach. Convenient? Planned? Guess she got away with it... *removes tin foil hat*
  25. It's most likely due to Charity Corner. Lots more Neopians on the site, during these type of events, and everyone donating, takes a bit of a "toll" on the servers.
