I am so sorry. I lost my first dog, Darwin, almost 2 years ago and I still think about him every day. I hope you can take some small comfort in knowing Napoleon had the best possible life with you. 

I am so incredibly sorry to hear that; the loss of a pet is a heartbreak like no other. Know that Napoleon is only now invisible, walking beside you and Josephine even though you cannot see him. I wish you the sincerest of birthdays on this difficult day. Bless you and your little Napoleon. ?

Both of our cats were sick, but while Josephine responded well to the medicine, Napoleon never got better. He died at 10:52 PM with me and my parents right by his side.  We really weren't expecting this. Both our cats are littermates that we got as kittens in October 2015. He had a good life, and I'm glad to have known him. Today's my birthday, but I don't feel happy.

I agree with what everyone else has said. I had a pet get super sad once after visiting the grundo plushie and it took repeated visits to the merry go round, multiple tiki tours, several rounds of hide and seek AND playing with toys/ grooming over and over. She did eventually perk up but it probably took a solid half hour of doing all of those things.

My mom and brother took my cat I've had for 11 years to the vet and they did some blood work....he has liver cancer. I'm very scared.

It's GREAT that they're doing the day-and-a-half start thing with this, but GOSH why can't they do that consistently with everything. ?

It's also difficult because today's society tends to classify so much as bullying which really isn't. If someone's a little snowflakey they accuse people of bullying them just for the other person strongly disagreeing with them, or being  called on what the other person sees as BS. It's tough.

Oh my goodness, please don't feel any pressure to rush - I think it's amazing that you take it on to do in the first place!! We appreciate all your hard work, that's for sure!
