It is, isn't it!! I'm thinking save to a set amount like 25 million (which will take a while on its own, particularly if my poor run at food club continues!) then buy a single high ticket item. Then save til the next landmark, say 35 million and buy another high ticket item... reward myself for saving.
I have a few of those hanging around that I bought an age and a half ago. That's not a bad idea at all - if I can get the Maraquan paint job out of it that cuts the price down by 7 million alone!

If you're willing to use NC you can probably knock down your total a bit by buying faerie quest fortune cookies and using them to get rainbow fountain dips from the grey faerie. The cookies cost 150 NC and I usually get  dip about every third cookie. 

So, I've been thinking about buying Premium for a while. I like the idea of an extra pet spot, it will be used for a draik. And lockdown means I have some spare cash floating around. 
I've also had a Jetsam on my hands that I quite liked the name of, but Jetsam's aren't really my thing. I then learned that you get a species change with Premium.
More importantly, most importantly, if your pet is in a colour that your new species doesn't have, you get to change it to any colour you want!!!
So. For 180,000np I bought a water Kau morphing potion. My Jetsam very briefly turned into a water cow. He was rather affronted at this. 
But then, then, I bought Premium for a month. I will likely upgrade it to a four month plan later, but for the moment a month was all I needed. And I clicked 'species change'. And I clicked 'Poogle'. And I got told that water doesn't exist for Poogle so would I like to change my colour to one that can be used for this species. And I said yes please, thank you, I would like that very much. I think... I think... I'll have THIS ONE!

Once I have the Slorg avatar I will then put him with a plushie petpet and he will have gone from my most bemoaned pet to my favourite pet in the whole darn universe! He is a tiny bit confused from all the shape shifting, but he'll get over it!
Edit: Now customised to my happiness. I want the Dapper Poogle Hat, but I think I'll wait for the inflation to go down on that particular item first!

Well, swamp gas is done pretty decently! If you can ignore the knee-jerk EW response to that colour, that's well drawn with good detail.

But the Obelisk really does like to show us that we're not the boss of it, doesn't it. Though there's a guild, isn't there. Which basically has the same impact on the results as SOTAC do on the AC, so whoever they've picked will win... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Usually in the case of an intended pet day falling on a Saturday or Sunday (in this case, JubJub Day), TNT will post the news for that said pet day on the Monday afternoon or evening NST after that weekend. Keep your eyes peeled around the 2 PM NST to 5 or 6 PM NST timeframe (TNT dependent) for a JubJub colour, outfit, and other themed goodies (if any).

I'm gonna have to pay full price for my stocks.
Also, I've lost 10k from my bank interest.

But yeah, so long CC perks, it was great while it lasted!
I wonder if the particularly vociferous CC-haters on the boards will be piping down now... because I suspect that despite their very vocal disdaining of CC, they all have these two big perks!
 
I'm very much hoping CC will be along after the AC. As the summer's pretty open for events it seems reasonable to hope for CC during July? As it's an event that basically needs 13 months for the event to run and then for the perks to expire it happening soon after the AC will set it up for a schedule for the next three years maybe, until it's butting up against Hallowe'en and then it'd need to jump to Spring again I suppose.
This is all pie in the sky ofc, it might not happen at all! I'm a strong believer in the power of wishful thinking though.
I enjoy CC, and I suppose my entire Neopian behaviour revolves around prepararion for it to a certain extent, I spend the entire year doing my Dailies with Intent; the items I collect from the Money Tree are all r80+ to be saved for CC, and I buy Sticky Snowballs from the Healing Springs throughout the day. No other spending than those 25 NPs for those though.
I taught myself the Money Tree items (pretty proud of my MS-addled brain for managing it, but, you know, repetition and all that, basic learning technique). I saved them in JN wish lists until I knew them. Obsessive, much? xD I'll share the link to my list once JN's stopped being broken, so anyone else who wants to be as obsessive of me can be! >8D
 
As an aside, how are the smilies behaving for you? You'll notice I used the neopets ones as the forum ones - apart from having reverted to a much earlier version which is neither here nor there - are taking about a year to load lately so I gave up trying. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Hello and Welcome to Neopian History 101
Years and Years ago , you could paint your Pets "Glass" or "Stone"  
They were not popular and the colors were discontinued
Glass pets were changed to Tyrannian
and Stone pets to Island
however the paint brushes still exist as R180 (retired) items and you can buy them from user shops but you can't use them 

Unicorn Paint Brush  was an idea that didn't really take off ... they tried to add unicorns to the pets .. 
but i think they decided to create a whole new Unicorn pet and call it "Uni" ... then removed the Paint Brush from the site and replaced it with Uni Gem 
Unicorn pets were thus changed to the basic Red we all know and love

They remind me of the Cuban Grass Lizard - I love all herps, and have had quite a few. Now all of my pets have fur...I love them all, but... just not the same smh lol 

So, today is the 19th anniversary if the Techo, which is my favorite Neopet species. Yeah, they're kinda generic, but so charming. Happy birthday to them!

While I'm not American (I live in The Netherlands), I do think there are some differences in how the West and the East view scholars. They're probably treated better in China, but while I think it's true nerdy kids might get bullied in school, being nerdy is seen as a good thing more and more often these days, and I don't think scholars have a bad reputation at all. But even if some people don't like nerds, or even bully them, that doesn't mean being a nerd is a bad thing! That just means the people who bully nerds are mean, and they are the problem, not nerds.
So if the Seekers are nerds, that's not a bad thing at all! Being a nerd just means being really into studying, it doesn't mean you can't also be funny and kind and brave. I think each person has a different definition of what's "cool". I personally think the Seekers are pretty cool, but I'm probably also a nerd. And a geek.

DO NOT BUY FROM OVERPOWERED!! They have taken money from me personally, my order remains unfulfilled, I DID NOT receive any codes (I should have received three), and my emails to BOTH Overpowered and TNT have gone completely unanswered.

Beli was actually named from an inside joke. To make it a short story - ,my cousin and I won a pillow from Cedar Point that looked very much like a neon green jubjub, but had a very...funky smell, even after being washed. I frequently wish that TNT would come up with a renaming event lol I would be willing to trade the 'change your pet's species' for a 'rename your pet'!
