Yesterday was my Grandpa's 79th birthday. I completely forgot to get a GOOD picture in all of the hubbub. It was a cheesecake filled spice cake with cream cheese frosting and cinnamon crumb topping. Maybe next time I bake I'll remember a GOOD picture smh lol

After many weeks of spending several lab ray cookies, color, gender and species changes I finally have a (male) Ice Hissi! Context: I got Kaskafil (his name) on Hissi day and wanted to get him ice since he'd look cool and like the Snowager, which is my favorite neopian monster. But since I didn't have the money for a potion to do that I tried my luck with the lab ray. When he (or she at the time) became a species that couldn't become ice I used a Starry Grarrl Potion to raise the ice-zapping chance. And finally after quite a (long) while my pet turned ice and I used a premium perk to change him into a Hissi. I am VERY happy that my patience and effort has paid off in the end. Just wanted to share this with you all.
 
Now to decide what to paint my Chomby...

I've also got a FQ Cookie open but this one was an actual legitimate random event! I got the grey faerie and health points out of the cookie!

I tried for a couple hours on and off at work, so I definitely get the getting tired of it, haha.  I was sort of afraid of being banned, but since I rarely win anything from the tree I figured I could protest it.  Managed it by keeping clicking the same one until it couldn't escape any longer. 
I'm planning to keep it.  I've got a bunch of adopted pets on my side accounts and one of them could definitely have fun with it.  Thinking of calling it Newt and giving it to my pet named Severus Snape.

Happy October everyone! The spookiest time of the year is here! Horror flicks, Halloween specials and tricks and treats galore! I just can't wait to scour haunt around various locales of Neopia for the yearly Trick-or-Treat Bags (if they're still doing them).
With that aside, here's what my pets got this month.

Only one Spooky Food this month which is quite underwhelming. I got a cake with sevens on it, I guess you can say seven is a scary number knowing that it ate nine.

Yeah, bad drivers are a major pet-peeve of mine. Bad enough when drivers weave in and out of lanes, or turn without using their turn signals. This old lady, didn't even do that. I noticed her movement, and took my foot off the gas, if I hadn't, then I don't think I could've stopped in time when she DID pull out into the street, blocking all traffic on that side.
I mean, the turn signals are SO easy, and they let people know if you want to change lanes, or turn off. So they know if they need to slow down to accommodate you or whatever. It's polite, it's the law, and it saves lives.  Plus, you're less likely to get horn-blasted if you let them know you're about to make a certain move that involves turning or changing lanes.

Agreed, bad weather is one thing, but today was only a little overcast. If you can't drive in clear weather, then you shouldn't be on the road. I mean, it's a privilege, not a right. Though it IS necessary for MOST people to do errands or go to work. But it's still only a privilege.
Heh, sorry for venting again. I'm tired of bad drivers. They've been increasing more and more around here, even though tourist season is now over here.

So glad that you are ok and that you didn't get in an accident and damage your vehicle. That is horrible. It is amazing how many incompetent drivers are out there. Where I live there are people who can't drive in the rain, fog, sunshine, or snow lol. It is so frustrating. 

Hi!! I don't know if anyone remembers me, I used to be active here, mostly with the Runway contests! My laptop wasn't working well and I have been away for ages! So exciting to see the runway is still going! I've got a second hand PC set up now and I'm getting back into neopets finally!

The faerie one does NOT have any Neopets perks and feels like the standard match-3 game just poorly rethemed.
 

Today is 136 days since TNT employee Delilah deleted every single NC item, both wearable and non wearable from my SDB. I had thousands of NC items worth thousands of dollar and Delilah deleted very single NC item and still no resolution. This is a known issue and TNT refuses acknowledge the severity of the issue and retore my SDB. 136 day and TNT continues to ignore the issue.

I hope your symptoms stay mild and you get better swiftly! Drink plenty of fluids and rest.
